*Official Bi-Annual Florida German Cookout 7/27/2008*
Official Florida German Cookout
$10 All-you-can-eat!
 When:
July 27th, 2008
Where:
John Chesnut Sr. Park
Shelter 9
2200 East Lake Road
Palm Harbor, FL 34685
Contact:
Dave O'Donnell (TheDarkSide) 727.580.6991
Tim Brum (JonnyChimpO) 727.243.9977
Event Information:
At 11:00 AM we will meet at the park at shelter TBA which is reserved for us. Tim and I will pick up in advance: hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, baked beans, potato chips, beverages, etc. The park has plenty of things to do which are listed bellow. As always it will be a great day for a photo-shoot.
Park Features:- Grills
- Picnic Tables
- Two Playgrounds
- Horseshoe Pits
- Beach Volleyball Court
- Softball Field
- Water Fountains
- Restrooms
- Paw Playground (Dog Park)
Here is a map once inside the park:
If you have never been before, this is an awesome event and not one you can let yourself miss! This is far from being a formal event but we do need an "accurate" head count so adequate food is picked up. This is why we are asking it be paid in advance through PayPal.
Volunteers:
We are also looking for volunteers for this event including:- Cooking (1/2 - 1 hour increments)
- Transporting food/coolers, etc. (Last cookout we had a MDX, Mini and M5 and still was tight. We can only expect the turnout to be even more.)
Please PM Tim or I and let us know what you can help with.

Payment:

Note: Just to clarify, you do not need to have PayPal to pay for this event. After clicking the link above, there is an additional link bellow "Don't have a PayPal account" that lets you pay using your credit card or bank account.

It doesn't really matter what car you bring. I think the cookout lasted until 5 or later the last 2 years.

There are currently 8 cars from vwfixx.com on our list, and I know that there are many more people that havent committed and will just show. I went to this event one of the last two years, and had a great time. I think we should do more interforum activities.
Make sure you all check out FixxFest this Fall at Bradenton Motor Speedway! All Euros welcome!
