Well finally found a buyer for both the KW's and the Big brakes, back to stock this baby goes and up front for sale!

I think they came that way, not 100% sure though, Because I think HRE offers black when you order from them.

oh you mean the cap, no its just a random black cap, it had no engraving.

oh you mean the cap, no its just a random black cap, it had no engraving.

Im saying if you have HRE's you cant run a blank cap, or painted over cap, run that logo proud those bitches arent cheap!

was helping crew a car this weekend at sebring who had 355s in the rear of his 996 turbo... now thats fuckin crazy

although I would still kill to be able to run 315s. lol

but that obviously isnt the case here, bc if 7k is pennies for brakes, he wouldnt need to part the car out to sell it to make the extra few bucks back :)

Well its not so much parting it out to make a few extra bucks its the fact that no one will make a realistic offer on the car with the suspension, brakes, wheels, the last offer we got was 42k with everything, while that is the average price for one over 50k with none of the stuff he has installed so I think he just got frustrated and decided to sell the brakes,suspension, and wheels.

oh no I understand, what I meant is anyone who feels that 7k for brakes is nothing, wouldnt mind taking a 20k$ hit on the porsche, even if the offers were 35k, theyd be like screw it whatever.

Power adders and suspension/brake upgrades usually add nothing when it comes time for resale. In fact, alot of times those cars will go for less because it is assumed that the car has been driven agressively.

I think it was a smart move to sell the items seperately. Good luck with the sale.

Yeah I agree, this car was barely driven and has been here since early december I believe, only 36,xxx miles on the car!! Good pickup for anyone who wants a bad ass porsche and not spend 100k

guys, he said some people 7k could be nothing for brakes, i said thats not the case here, which it ISNT THE CASE BC OBVIOUSLY IF 7K WERE NOTHING TO HIM HE WOULDNT PLAY IT SMART AND WOULD JUST TAKE WHAT HE GETS

Actually the company that installed the brakes originally, kept his stock stuff and got rid of them without telling him and didn't offer to give him money when he asked for the stock stuff back. Soooo we hunted down another 996 owner that will be sending us the stock brakes in trade plus cash for the Kw's and Brembo kits, should be arriving any day now and then the car will be officially up for sale!
