Anyone repaired a wheel scuff this way?

thought that was interesting, and my mom has scuffed one *cough* 3 *cough* of her wheels and was thinkin about trying that out.

So, anyone attempted this before?

I had one of my rims repaired from a small accident and the guy just sanded the wheel down. No filling just sanding, in about an hour he had it perfect. Now I know how they do it I'll never pay for it again :P
