Its finally here

I took delivery of the GTR yesterday. Only 132 miles by the time I got home so have not gotten on it yet. But it feels very quick. I will put pics up soon when I have some time. It is definatelly an attention magnet. I think I counted 12 thumbs up, 6 rolldown window comments, 3 hot chicks waving and 1 smart ass on a 5.0 mustang that wanted to race.

Im not too sure that the lutz meet will be happening tonight. Might want to check with Andrew before you pull up to an empty shop parking lot...

Im working until 9pm. I took her out to Sarasota and back yesterday so she is a dirty girl right now. She does 140mph without hesitation and is more stable than the 996TT. I had a Cobra try me out and gravely failed. I saw him comming and was already in gear when he got to me. There is no Turbo lag at all on the GTR. It just goes. If I can I will bring her out tonight. Who else is going?

Thanks Chino, I wish I could have stayed longer. Worked 12hrs and 12 the next day. I need to bring my camera next time. There are some nice machines that go to these events. Everyone is very cool. Thanks for the nice welcoming of the rice burner. I do miss my German machine. Maybe when I break it in we can go for a nice run. I wont do donuts (Im nont that talented of a driver) but I wouldnt mind a little light to light or highway run.

dude that's crazy! i'm still dying to see one. supposedly there's a few cruisin around Sarasota already, but i have yet to run into one myself. its hard to imagine a car that dwarfs the Supra (given its stigma of being one of the more portly Japanese sports cars for so long).

haha yes they are a monster! There is supposedly a white and grey one around Sarasota. I think everyone I know has seen them at least 5 times and I havent once! I did see that white one on the trailer a few weeks ago. It made the G35 that was above it look like a Mini! It definitely is a big damn car!!!
