Anyone With USRT Water/Meth Injection: READ!
Just wanted to let you guys know that I was having a problem with one of the quick disconnect fittings leaking. Its been leaking since last Monday (talked to Scott and a new one is on the way) BUT this morning I get in the car and the windshield washer level low light comes on the dash. I just filled it last night so I know its full, so I pop the hood and the resevoir is empty ... and the gallon of water is all over the floor! Well the fitting completely broke in two pieces.

I had to have a fix NOW so I went to the hardware and got some brass fittings to replace ALL of the quick disconnect fittings. After the hardware store I came home to replace them, took the driver headlight out etc etc, well every single one of the quick fittings was leaking!!!!!

My suggestion if you have this kit, throw the quick fittings in the trash and get some brass ones from a hardware store that you can rely on!!

Heres some pictures of the new fittings installed, the broken one compared to one thats still intact, and I also installed the pump on green LED so I know whats going on better now!

Shawn

You need to paint the button red so you can say "push the red button!"

haha, what button? The green LED are you referring to? Its a light not a button if thats what you were thinking, it comes on when the pump is on

nope, its run with a boost controller

Its on at 6psi and full spray at 15. The boost controller box regulates the pump pressure between those two settings to vary amount injected into the throttle body

How much would an install be? Does not look like the average DIY.

Lol my dad being obsessed with tools made my installs *alot* easier. Took 4 hours to do the rear sway with only a volvo trunk socket set. Took like 1 to do the front with his tools.

I agree everything is DIY. Ive not once paid anyone to do anything on my car. Everything on my mod list I did myself!

have you had any problems with spraying through the throttle body yet? i know that the t.b's are very sensitive on the drive by wire cars. we would kill them at the dealership once and a while by just spaying throttle body cleaner through them.
