In November there is going to be a large event to support the ADA(American Diabetes Assoc.)

Every 21 secs somewhere in the US, there is a new case of either Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes, and while there are cures for Type 1 in the works..there is no cure for type 2, other than managing the illness.

For 2005, The top teams started at 2236$ to 5000$ for the bottom 6. The number one team(Rec Warehouse) raised 176,000 for the event.

Last year we raised over 3k for the Russel Home For Children, and i think we, CFBMW and the other Mature Car Clubs should go in for this event.

What else does it entail? Do you have to get sponsors or anything?

well we are entering CFBMW as a Team/Org for the event.
we/I figured instead of all the BMW groups entering seperate, we just all umbrella under one name for the event. That way we could maybe break into the top teams for 2006.

Then it just comes to raising funds for the event.

Well we have plenty of time to organize. I would help...as out of shape as I may be.
