Pimp, if I didn't like my W124 I'd offer him a straight up trade or maybe a bit of cash on his end. If you could pick it up for $2500 I think it'd be a deal.

Even with diesel being expensive, I bet with it would do 35 mpg or so. And it is absolutely gorgeous. It'd be slow as hell but who cares when it looks that good. Probably has another 100k miles left in it.

Go figure. It was a blk '92 400E for $999 that needed some cooling work, had 212k and looked excellent
