Yay or Nay?
I want the CF front lip spoiler... I'm not sure about the new chrome, lower front grill... It doesn't look overly fantastic on the silver, but I think on the black it may look great. Don't know if I'll bother with the tiny accent rear wing. Also would like the Chrome pedals.
So the poll is Yay or Nay to Front Spoiler, Front Lower Grill, and Pedals
Ignore the interior CF and all that... Here are the pics at this link...

Oooh, I just noticed the strut brace too, hmf, does it serve any real purpose in this car besides looks?

Not too too crazy about the lower grill; I like the splitters though. Pedals, definitely! I like most of the kit, minus the roof spoiler. As for the strut brace, the M5 is so stiff that the chassis barely flexes. I'd only get it if a were a hardcore autocrosser or racer.
I remember read how Steve Dinan said the strut brace is a must of the E30, helps on the E36, and looks nice on the E46. Seeing as your car is a generation after the E46, I doubt you'll need it.

Wow ****e!
The Splitter is 2,100 and its an extra 500 for the stupid aluminum stabilizer bar... wtf, what a rip! Ehhh It looks hot though...
The pedals are 262, ok thats in my budget...
The strut bar is 1,700 wow! are you kidding?
The lower grill is like 1,400 :-/ ehhh not worth it! Even though I have a feeling it wouldn't look bad on a Sapphire black E60 compared to that silver one...

thats because its all true acs stuff. it isnt cheap. look around though, you can find replica acs stuff. you can get the pedal set on ebay for 50-80 bucks

meh....i like the m5 as is...drop it / rims and tint ... your "good to go" all that extra stuff is way flashy...iono the m5 stock is flashy enough add all that and you take away from what it was built for....who knows..it could look good in black tho..:dunno:

Not a big fan of the deck lip or roof spoiler, and the front bumper seems a little "ricey" for my tastes... but hey, im a very conservative guy when it comes to looks. I mean theres nothing hotter to me then a stock looking car thats modded to hell.

:ditto:
Honestly, I think the car would look a little retarded with just front splitters, and stock wheels, height, etc..
It'd be like putting a very large wing on a stock 325... Why??
At most, do tint, drop, some nice 20's...
Call it a day.

I dont like it. The new lower grill looks like Aston Martin, I dont like splitters, wait till you find I nice full lip. Rear is nasty, and those tips are ghey. Take all that off and it is hot :thumbu:

Well... you have to look at the car and where its going....
Its already tinted, I am getting the black HRE C20's with chrome lip, smoking the taillights, and then putting the CF front splitter, which will blend in with the black car. I don't know how the chrome looking lower grille will look, itll probably look good with the black and since the upper grille is chromed, but for 1,400 its too much a risk...
The CF diffuser would be nice too, runno about the decklid spoiler, maybe at a very later time... not too worried, the little bump there is enough

If you like it and have the coin to do it then go for it. Imho it looks better stock but it is your car and do what you want to it cus it is your money and all it has to do is please YOU not your neighbor cus it is an expression of YOUR personality.

the pedals are ok, the rest is very bad really. i would consider a roof spolier but not that particular one.
edit: i also hate splitters, full lip ftw!

I'd take a stock M5 over that SHIITsner crap anyday. Leave it be. Spend your money on track days and work on mastering your driving skills.
