It depends on what you are looking to get done. If you are looking for custom stuff or just bolt on.

I know that Gatto does most of the fabrication for CFT (the exhaust stuff) and I have looked at his work up close and it is the best work that I have seen here in central Florida. It really depends on what you are looking to do. I am building a custom exhaust and to be honest I might have Gato build my headers but the rest is to be built be another shop. If you have ever had the chance to look at Kens car you would know how anal he is about it so if that is any sign as to how his shop is I am sure that anything that they turn out will be sheer perfection.

i dunno if you got my e-mail but i'm dropping by the shop during lunch today, I will call you around that time and we'll talk and see what we can do.

If we're not prepared to take care of it for you, we'll figure something out and find a place here in town so you can get it done.

I found out that the shop central florida turbo uses is speciality exhaust, across the street. I'll be honest, and of course, this is my personal opinion, so dont flame me, but Albert, the shop owner, regardless of how great his work is, is a complete and utter asshat. You can quote me on all that. The man has no manners, or proper business ettiquete. About a month ago, I went to Speciality Exhaust, after taking the morning off from work, I drive 40 min to his shop around 9 am...I walk inside, I tell him, "Hey, I'm going to let the car cool off so you can hear the noise." He says okay. Hes watching Judge Judy on TV. 15 min pass by, I tell him, "Okay, the car is probably fine, do you want to walk out and check it out." He says, "No, lemme wait for this show to finish." I **** you not. I was so befuddled. 15 min pass by, his wife and kid come in and he **** talks with them for about 10 more minutes. I didnt want to leave right then, when I really should have, but I wanted to have the car up on the lift so I could see for myself what the problem might be. Anyways, long story short, I ended up telling him to f* off as politely as possible, and I left. I ended up driving to Stacey's Muffler, in Sarasota, Florida, recommendation of Shawn, and lo behold, I couldn't be happier. The drive was worth the service, and I'm more than happy with the finished product. If worse comes to worst, I probably will go back out there to get it taken care of if I don't find a shop here in the Orlando area.

wow. that is absolutely amazing! i had no idea judge judy could be so riveting ;)

one more option...my friend curtis just got a 3" turbo-back done by someone here in town. he said he wasn't estatic about the whole experience to be honest, but if it's just something simple you need done he said it should be smoothly for you. I will hopefully be able to call you with some contact info sometime today.

can't believe this has become such a hassle...you would imagine you'd be able to find somewhere fairly easily, right?

For real bro, I really do wish we had more support for performance tuning and such here in the Orlando area. Which is why I'm so ecstatic to see you guys in the area. I do hope the VAG/BMW scene grows quickly here in the area. Anyway, let me know what you find. Like I said, I don't really need much done. Just another resonator, or a simple Magnapack, muffler whatever, to quiet the exhaust down, while not limiting performance. Anything is better than taking it to a shop like "Muffer Man" or something of the sort.

O.K. guys I just came back from getting some DIY stuff that I just didn't have the time to take care of over at MOS and all I could say is that ALEX is a great guy. He let me hang out in the shop with him while he was working on the car and answered any and all questions that I had with honesty. He seems to be the type of guy that will tell you if he does not know the answer to something. All in all I had a good experience there and would recomend this shop to everyone. Now as far as fabrication goes I am using a little shop just in the middle of the hood (the same guys that did my front bumper). They are mostly a JDM shop and do motor swaps and such. The shop is a little of a mess but they turn out some bad ass cars and have always done me right and will be getting me ready for NOPI and NOPI Nationals (will be in a booth for the sponsors) as well as several other shows along the east coast. IThe reason that I have not said who they are is to be honest things like finding a shop that YOU LIKE is like finding a hair stylist (I am bald but remember when I had hair); you do not want to go to any body else or even try some one new. If you are serious about having something custom fabricated (there is nothing wrong with going to a joe shmo muffler shop if the do what you need for them to do) and there is no other alternative than shoot me a PM and I will see what I could do for you.
