I would give my left nut for this exhaust... no price or info released to the dealers yet, but soon.. it'll probably me 5-6,000 installed :-( So expensive but soo nice, It has the valvetronic thing where you can have it loud, but then switch it to silent so it sounds almost like stock.

The website is in japanese but you can tell which videos are for the E60

Is it a jap company? it does sound nice, but too high pitched, more jap sounding that german.

I'm starting to like the 1ser, e9X, and e60 Stuff Hartge is starting to produce.

Sounds really raspy, I like it and the blips and blurps, mostly I love being able to put it in silent or F1 mode... but its alot of $$$$

5-6,000 installed? Haha, that's the price for the e46 m3, and the valvetronic ti goes for like what 15,000? I'm sure it'll be a lot more than 5 or 6 for an e60..
Like Dave said, it's a sweet exhaust, but 6,000 is a lot for an exhaust, especially on a 50,000 dollar car..
I can't even imagine what it'll be for the e60 m5.

 Did not even think of that, they know you are cash money with a E60 M5, I bet it is much more.

Word Dave.
They know you dropped probably around 90k for the car, at least, so they're figuring that they can probably charge a few extra dollars on the price tag. Sure its a nice car and lots of time and effort with R&D was done, but 15,000 worth? I dunno.. :germanflag:

It's like with the ferrari (430 I think it is) where for stitching on the seat costs like 2 grand or something.... Pretty cheap price base for a ferrari, but the options can knock up the price like 10-30 grand lol

That exhaust is th biggest gimmick going guys. Why spend all that money on an exhaust that could easily be duplicated for a fraction of the cost with better results. Here is a better idea for you; Go buy a REAL EXHAUST like a BURNS SS (2 1/2lbs) (also used on most PTG and IMSA and Austrailian V8 Super Car race series) for under $300 (flow tested and rebuildable). There is no need for a bypass valve (which by the way could be purchased from most speed shops or retailers like SUMMIT RACING for $50-$350 for the electronic ones) since these are flow through design and for the those of us that get excited when you hear a roar of a BMW engine (I know that I do) these are the way to go. Put any tips that you like on them and there you go a functional real race exhaust that not only ups the HP. of our cars (remember that the more you flow the less torque that you have down low but you gain HP on top) but is IMHO the most BAD ASS EXHAUST available for any car. You want to be elite here is your chance. http://www.burnsstainless.com/

I would look at Tubi or Eizenman (SP?). Tubi makes a killer system on Ferrari's and I'm sure it would sound excellent on an E60. I'm speaking from experience, Tubi on a Testarossa shot out flames from the rear...bad ass at night.

I'd have to agree with ALPN333 on this one. The sound isn't that great to me either.
