Good place to try on helmets?

Hey all,

Going to get into autoX and things so I'm looking into getting an SA2005 rated helmet. I'm looking for a local shop (orlando metro area) that has a good selection I can try on and see what I like. Anyone know of a place?

Any motorcycle shop will have a good selection of helmets and should let you try them on. Theres a cycle gear somewhere in orlando, dunno where.

I think Cycle Gear is on the east side on 50 (I think).. i have only been to that one once... I know there is one in Sanford on Rheinhart next to the Sam's Club....

BUt Cycle gear or any Motorcycle accessory store will have a great selection and allows you to try them on...

....if they're busy just tell em you don't need help and try em on yourself though. I can't remember how many guys came in and I spent 30-40 mins with em and they just wanted to try em on. Cause those guys are commission. GL and i dunno what size you are but i am throwing out about 4 helmets from M to XL all within 10 years of their production dates which I think fall under the guidelines?....

yep just go to a motor cycle place to try them on


i suggest ordering online though, they only carry M helmets in those stores. You want SA helmets like you said in your first post.

There is a store in Daytona that carries nothing but helmets... i cannot fro the life of me think of the name... Helmet city or something like that, I know Helmet is in the name.
