way to long of a day to search, so anyone have any quick links to the MK III and what to look for as far as trouble spots and performance and general stuff? its a 1994 with 69xxx mi and a 4 dr hatch. manual.

That'd be a four door 2.0 8v golf. Performance is non existent in that car. It seriously is extremely slow. If you care about performance at all in this car, get a VR. They aren't much more expensive.
My old VR, I really miss it. Great car.

thats pretty good mileage for a mk3...i would say get it and drop it to the floor!! who cares about going fast when u look baller rollin slow...lol

haha its a second car to keep the miles off my M. Its between that one with roll up windows and slow motor or a 96 volvo 850 loaded but fwd and 160xxx ftl on the ol sweed.( at least youd expect a volvo to be rwd, figures this models the first they imported fwd)
