I'm renting GTA4 right now to try it out. It's a lot better than the other versions, but for me it gets old after a while and the campaign mode seems to take FOREVER to get exciting. I like instant gratification. I guess that's why I spent $250 on a lapdance last night. Once you get to the third dance she brings in a friend! LMAO

The cops seem friggin hard too... Especially the swat guys that keep coming with the drug raids and such, your health goes so quickly, you either gotta play it really safe or just go balls out and run past and outta there lol! Oh and the cops are way too aggressive lol.. Seriously... I run a toll and they start SHOOTING ME!?!? wtf is that! LOL! Or I tried to get out of the car and drive past the roadblock earlier in the game... instant 6 star or w/e lol!

i think you have to play through the playboy missions then itll trigger the roman kidnap mission. (playboy will hook you up with a new camera phone).

with the stats, press start and goto stats. scroll down and it'll show characters like and respect%. with some characters if you get them to like you enough you get some sort of hook up. little jacob for example gives you a hook up on weapons.

now the cops, i like the idea how you have to get away from the "hot spot" but when you drive out of the area, magically a cop appears right in front of you and the hot spot resets. :banghead:

I just got Playboy's safehouse... hmm bout it, I rescued Roman and did some other missions... I need to get my friend rating up on the rasta guy for weapons...

Lol I had like 42 grand, and I jacked a car and the cops chased me... I was bored and wondered what would happen if I just stopped, if they would shoot me...

Well I stopped, and they're like get out of the car... Soo I got out lol, then they're like, Don't move! So I just stood there, and they walked up slowly with guns out and cuffed me. I was like oh, I thought I was going to be shot up, maybe this is cheaper than paying the like 2 grand the hospital charges when I die.

No.. big mistake, they take all your guns... I had like 15 grenades, ak, sub machine gun, pistol, rifle, and full ammo for all lol! I was so mad! I went broke buying it all back lol, but not much else to spend money on...

I'm kind of dissapointed in the lack of shops and outfits... In saints row you could really customize every bit of what you wore, and even get various watches, chains, pendants, glasses, w/e.

Also with the fairly good diversity of people and such around... It doesn't seem to me that there are as many cars... The other thing is, even though this has happend in all the GTAs... when I finally get a rare car that doesn't really drive around, and I drive it around... its everywhere on the road...annoying!

Its a good game, I'd say I'd like it so far but there are just so many things that really could have been furthered... I hate going to the bar or restaurant and it like.. just simulates it, I wish there was like dialogue you could chose that decided the outcome or something, I dunno... just seems like they shortcutted many things.

Another sad and weird thing... Only 2 cars per parking thing? If I'm playing the game, I can park 2 cars in my parking area and slip a bike inbetween them and all 3 will stay there as long as I'm playing...

but if I shut the console off and reload where I saved, it will only save 2 of the 3 things I had there... makes no sense, it saves them all the rest of the time until I reload from the menu. Dieing, missions, w/e else the 3 or how ever many cars you can jam there will stay.



Lol I also found real easy way for the survial for 5 minutes on 6 star... I took a helicopter to the 3rd island locked off and got 6 stars and just landed on the roof of a skyscraper and sat up there, the helicopters never really shot at me, infact I shot one down with the ak lol.

what i wish they had (that san adreas did) was the chop shop, where you can hook up your ride.

maybe you'll get a sweet as mansion towards the end of the game compared to the little safe houses.

like mentioned, i hate when you have a hard time looking for a fast exotic car, you hop in one, then they're parked all over (including the projects).

as far as character customization, im glad they took out the whole body build thing (like the one in san adreas). they could of done just a little more options with clothes, but i wasnt really too worried about it (wouldnt want an immagrant rock'n tall tees and bling).

soundtrack of the game is shit hot.

i like the game, but for some reason i end up playing couple rounds in cod4 before i make that gta in liberty city:dunno:

its about 100 at most stores for the wireless connection do hicky that attaches to the back of the xbox, or you can just run a long ethernet cable to your router in the house if its not too far and you dont want to spend the extra monies.....
