fronts are a 5 1/4s and tweeters. if the tweeters are blown they are more of a pia than the 5.25s. nice set of 5.25s to replace them with can cost probaly 50ish of you use a company like crutchfield. local shop/used gear much less.

from the dealer new they are like 2-300 for all 4. you have to pull the doorpanel off to replace them and they just unscrew off.

you can replace them with aftermarket, you will just have to splice some wires and cut the original plug off.
door panel shouldnt take more then 5-10 mins to take off with the right tools.
make sure to buy some new door clipse because chances are your gonna break some taking it off

I was just about to say that.
Don't hire a professional to do it. It's a few minutes work, like he said. Buy the stuff and I'll do it for you for free. It would have to be sometime this weekend though, I won't be back home till May except for this coming weekend, but I'm sure someone else would help you out. If you want to come to my house or meet me up somewhere, Friday morning or early afternoon would be perfect. I have to go out and get some stuff Friday anyways, so I might even be able to swing by wherever you are (assuming it's somewhere in Tampa).

Oh okay, gotcha. I think you should try to do it yourself, I'm sure there's a guide somewhere online, it should be pretty easy if you can work a screwdriver and a soldering iron... and it's a good chance to get to know your new car a little. You're looking at an m3, right?
