wtb e30 or vw

k my bro is selling his car right now and im on the lookout for a new car for him. price range is 3 grand at most. he's looking for a vw mk1, 2, or maybe 3 if its cheap enough.he would take almost any vw.... although he would also consider e30's. he said coupes only but if there is a sedan thats in good shape i know he would rock it so if anybody sees one of these please do share the information.

We have a very clean for age 1984 318i 2-dr coupe 5-spd 113k miles delphin grey with full black interior and a zender spoiler .....new injectors, new block with 33k miles ,new clutch,new gas tank,new plugs an wires ,new fuel tank, new tires , new rims........not gonna need service for a while i think my dad is asking $1700 parts alone can almost make that number ,take in mind it is not a rocket ......it is a 1.8 and good on gas.

just an fyi, he did get a red VW vr6 corrado for dirt cheap. it has some body damage which he is replacing now but its got a good interior and some suspension, exhaust, x-drilled brakes. got it for 1200.the motor would be worth about 1500:eek:

lol no need for that. it was in pretty rough shape. it was "totalled" but there was no frame damage. the right front fender, front bumper, and hood were all jacked up but my friend has a red corrado he's parting out so he just got all the parts he needs for it to look better. the paint was resprayed and not the best job to be honest, plus oxidation and other marring. ill take car of that and make it look better. has good black leather interior but the carpets were nasty...i cleaned them up a little bit but im ognna have to use the big extractor at work. it was sitting for a whole year, and started up first try! it sounds amazing...
