So her price limit is 14k maybee 15k if the miles are low enough...But she doesnt mind staying around 12-13k either:dunno:


She wants an e46....4dr or 2 dr...Auto, miles must be in the 80k range or less (the fewer miles the better) :thanks: :read:

She will consider just about ever color combonation (but) RED exterior she hates red...:blah:

I say mini... or legacy gt. 250 hp, awd, and leading in class with the highest crash test safety ratings. And its alot nicer than the wrx, traction control, abs, leather, all the shiz i didnt care about lol

i saw a 944 turbo for sale for 9 grand with 65k miles 102 miles from here.... good buy!

I know you said shes dead set on an e46, but lemme run this by you.

For around that same price you could get her like a C230, a merc. There super safe, as most mercs are, they get decent mpg and all too. They arent the fastest cars granted, but unless shes gonna do some serious racing or trying to go like 100+ on the expressway, she should be fine.

Im not sure what kind of year you would be looking at for that much $, i havent really looked into it. But I know a 98 E320s like mine are going for around 12-15 grand. The C's are cheaper regardless, so you should be able to get a decent year. In any case, the older mercs are better than the new ones.

She wants an Automatic.....She can drive stick, but really doesnt want to do it everyday because she sits in traffic for an hour on the way to work and sometimes longer on the way home..

:rofl: Well I have a story for you that is even better than that. Well actually 2. I went to a dealer and was working with some sales manager. I was naming cars I liked he had on the lot. He pulled out some sheet from his desk, found the car, looked at his (invoice price) typed it in a calculator then told me the price. After a while I caught on what he was doing. He left the room for a minute, I sat in his chair pulled out the list and had a look for myself. Remembered all of the cars I wanted to, then he came back. Told him I have seen this car forever here, nobody wants it, I will take it for $xxx rounded to the nearest $100. He went and asked, they were like we will do it for $xxx (they added like $250) and I took it. It was an awesome deal, like 8k under book.
