We are very excited to announce EuroWerx. The gathering of fine European automotive craftsmanship in one location, the ability to get up close to those super exotics that you've just seen in a magazine. Hang out with friends or test your skills on the track. This event will be for you.
We have also partnered with Traqmate to bring in car video recording and telemetry data acquisition for those who want it. We also just secured Universal Studios as a Premiere Partner, offering Eurowerx attendees extreme discounts on park tickets. How does $49 for a one day, one park ticket sound? They'll normally over $70!
Show up on Friday and hang out with us, friends, sponsors and vendors at the cocktail reception at the Four Points Sheraton.
Hang out for a Mexican Buffet Dinner being held on Saturday evening at the Sheraton.
We have so much planned, there is something to do for everyone.

We are currently working on our vendor list. We have everything from tires, suspension systems, engine, tuners and more. If you are a vendor and would like to attend the event please contact events(@)gforcemotorworks.com
Food
Yes, we are going to have food. Not just the hamburgers and hot dog kind of food your used to but the shaved ice, Italian sausage with grilled onions, beef on a stick kind of food. What you would find at a festival. MMMM, good!!
Camping
Yes, you can come and camp. We will provide overnight security so there is nothing to worry about. Just contact us if you have further questions. Please be aware this is a fun event and we can NOT have dogs, snakes or anything else that might freak someone else out. Play it smart and think about it first. If you wonder if we might say anything, it just might be wise to leave it at home. If you break the rules you will b asked to leave and any and all monies lost. Sorry to be so hard but it’s safety for everyone involved.
Safety / Security
This an area we hope we do not have to say a great deal about. Security will be provided by Gforce and will employ off duty officers. Do something dumb and there is no arguing with us about it. You will have to deal with them. Once again this goes back to safety for attendees and their families, our sponsors, our vendors and everyone else included.
Registration and Sign-up
This event will be on ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY! We will not be taking any money at the gate. The reason for this is that everyone that registers will receive not only a t-shirt but a badge with bar coded information. This will be your only entry into EuroWerx.Badges will be issued for attendees, vendors, sponsors everyone that attends.

Yes, if your under 18 then you'll need to get the waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Once you register a complete "Event Packet" in PSF format is made available for you with all the information and forms you need.
Instructors do not have to pay and if you have the skills and racing background please contact me directly.
Instructor training will be held between 7am - 8am on Sunday. We would like people to arrive on Sat for tech inspections but we know it might not be possible. We can do them on Sunday but will done based on schedules.
Our lead instructor is Rich Tonoltson from Sun Coast Porsche Club. Overall structure might change slightly but I don't see it going off n a big way.
Each session will be 30 minutes with only 20 cars on the track during each session. When someone signs up they are signing up for one session. If someone wants to run in multiple sessions then a discount will be given on the second session. Sessions can be back-to-back for a total of 1hr on the track. That's a lot of time really.
If there is anything I left out or can answer for anyone please feel free to contact me.

I thought the original plan was like 2-3 hours of track time. So now it is $175 for one 30 minute session?

Track time was designed by myself and tried to incorporate the best experience for the money. I may have fallen short on this and am looking at revising the track time slot portion. I will get with my head instructor and formulate something that works for everyone.

**HUGE UPDATE!!**
I made a HUGE mistake in the track pricing. Now that it was brought to my attention I have made the change in the original posting.
The cost for your first 30 minute session will only be $80 not $175. Each session that you want to pick up after that will only be $70. The first 30 people that register get a FREE 30 minute session bringing your total track time to an hour.
I have also reduced the cost of New Driver Training / Instructor to $130 from $175.
I also reduced the cost of the in-car camera by 50% to just $40
Designing and event this large isnt easy and mistakes are made. I was insane for a short time, got some slapping around and have come to my senses.
If anyone has any questions please let me know.

Yeah, no alcohol. We want people to have fun and when you let beer or other stuff in then your just asking for issues.
We still have some slots open for the first 30 people that register. You'll get an hour for the price of a regular session.

**IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT**
Eurowerx might become a 1 day event. Why?
We worked very hard to bring the community an event that everyone says the love the format. This has taken a vast amount of time and resources.
We need a specific number of people to register for the track event. This MUST take place this month. We are far short of the number of people needed and if we don't get more people to register we will be forced to cancel the event for Sunday and the track event that goes along with it.
We currently have more non-euro cars registered then euro. Something I don't understand. We made the price extremely cost effective for everyone to take place in. We designed enough run groups that allows people to have options throughout the day. We've lined up some top name companies to be at the event.
The only thing we haven't done is make it totally free, something it seems everyone will turn out for.
So, you, as the community asked for this type of event and we have brought it to you. We can't do anymore. The track portion of the event is in your hands.

are there any requirements the cars have to have? i.e. roll cages, or is it pretty much run what you brung that has to pass tech?
Tranz

Only needs a roll bar if it's a convert. Otherwise it has to pass tech inspection.

****************************Announcement********** ********
Eurowerx 2008 had to be cancel due to the following:
1. For the track event, Not enough register drivers and unexpected additional cost
2. SunCoast Porsche Club back out on our agreement to share the venue on the 31st for our show & shine. The track calls us and states that the club has decided to not allow us to be there on Saturday. This was a huge
blow and a shock! It would be to anyone thinking that had an agreement that was already
arranged.
Needless to say we are very disappointed on all the above specially on the lack of registration in the euro community :banghead:
Most of our sponsors would like to see us move the event to different location if possible. We are looking at that option, but it will not be Eurowerx but a huge GTG somewhere in Central florida, since Team Dynogo wants to bring to their dyno rig a park is out of the question; where ever it is you'll be able to dyno your ride and have a good time. Aynone that did register for the track event will receive a refund ASAP.
Notes: This event will happen in 2009, you can be sure of that.

Just to clear the air before Suncoast PCAs reputation gets hit....
The deal was that if you had enough drivers you would give PCA $6k to be allowed access to the back paddock area on saturday. Months in advance, they suspected you would not have enough money to come through, but they waited until the agreed upon date to let you come through with the money. Not enough drivers registered so you couldnt pay.... That was not PCAs fault.

I don't know where you get that info from, but we had our $6k to paid for the back paddock area a month prior to the event when they back out on the agreement. Saturday had nothing to do with registered drivers as it was a show and shine day for us.
So let's be clear
