Not too crazy about the spot lighting but the clarity is second to none...nice set. :)

Its purty... the steering wheel doesn't look very comfortable though... Its kinda bland and eh, idk doesn't have a nice comfortable grip. Guess its not bad, its like the one in the escalade, I thought that was comfortable until I got used to the nice grooves in the M5 wheel, which I thought was weird and eh at first lol.

The new GT3 owns the new turbo...in pretty much every category...

But still one of the hottest cars on the street!

Theres a 997 turbo in the showroom at Reeves..... preeeeeetttttyy......

Although I still don't like the steering wheels... guess I'm stubborn and love the grip on the 5 wheel.

Its sold already, I shoulda snuck a card in it somewhere lol!

I went to Orlando this week to see family etc. at Disney..
Well what do you know, one of my brother's friends picked up a 997 about a month ago.
First 997 TT in the U.S. supposedly...
Black on Black, full CF interior, I have two crappy cell phone pictures I'll post later in another thread....

Along with a full detailed descripition of what it's like to DRIVE this beast..
Yes I drove it..

And it's everything they've said it is....And more....

Call me a noob...what did they change from 996, thought it was just more or less a face lift.

I couldn't find any real good reviews, I guess many people haven't taken a good look at it? :dunno:

How different does it look from the standard 997?
Not very. The Turbo uses the body of the 997 Carrera 4, which has wider front and rear fenders—1.7 inches overall. From the front, it looks a little like the Carrera GT, but most bystanders will still see a 911.

Now Gus, I know you don't really care for P-cars, but I think even YOU, will find this somewhat interesting..

The 911 Turbo has often been Porsche's new technology leader. What's new or innovative on this one?

The variable-geometry turbos on the new VTG engine virtually eliminate turbo lag above 2000 rpm. The peak torque of 502 pound-feet is available for 10 seconds during a special overboost mode of 20.9 psi. Normal peak torque is 457 pound-feet. The new Porsche Traction Management (PTM) combines the electronically controlled four-wheel-drive system with the Porsche Stability Management (PSM) feature to employ the torque distribution to balance the car's handling and maintain traction and stability.

500 lbs of torque? Tell me that doesn't sound like fun..

I can agree that there isn't that much exterior difference between the 996 and the 997, and other years to most anyone looking. I see a totally different car, but I am a porsche whore.

But do you want a company who builds a car spending time only on exterior modifications. F-that in my opinion. For instance, The interior alone isn't that different to you, but compared to a 996, it is radically different to me..

But like I said, I'm a porsche whore.

you are just a whore me i like changes specially if im gonna pay 130k+ for it :dunno:and yes i can see some changes but no more than if you took your m and put aftermarket bumpers and a wing a turbo and waaalaaaaaaaa the new 07m3 than take in 2016 put a bigger turbo different tranny different bumpers and wing maybe a body kit wheels interior and waaaalaaaaaaa the new 2016 m3. you see my point ?

True, but if you had 130k to spend on a car you'd drive every once in a while, chances are, money ain't a thang.. 130k is probably pocket change.

You'd probably have a lambo or ferrari, a nice house on the water, a nice yatch, and well a few females...

well, gus, you got the last part so your half way there. :D

I get that.. but like I said, I'm a porsche whore, to me its more heritage also..
There isn't much changes physically, but thats not what porsche is all about. It's a drivers car. There is a reason they've always had the Tach in the center of the dash, to the porsche driver, that's really all you need while driving. All you need is to be able to drive, and your tach.

dont get the wrong idea because i love 911's but since it is considered a drivers car, why the hell is the engine still rear mounted? they have been trying to make that work for how many years and the back end is still very easy to have come around on you. and generally its not gonna be a little drift its going to spin out completely. why odnt they take the plunge and make it mid engined? that would be an interesting chnage for the 911!

Some people need to see changes in order to feel like it's different or better some how. But not all changes are for the better. Porsche discovered one of the sexiest automotive bodies and wrapped it around a great suspension and engine combo. There is no need for change, only to refine. Which is exactly what they have been doing over the years. About the time the boxter was born is when they got serious. You take a drive around a track in a 1995 turbo (which is STILL a baddasss car) and then a drive in a 2005 turbo. Then tell me there is no difference.
