have a 1975 BMW 2002 thats in great condition. Minimal rust, No cracks in the dash. I've invested about 8,000 dollars and three years of labor. I'm taking offers, VERY flexible, just trying to get back what I put in to it. Has wide fenders. They were pulled out from the actual metal of the body, not a bondo job. Included in the final sale price is a 1973 BMW 2002 parts car, even has an engine to go with it and interior, so that can be fixed if you want to do that. The hood on the '75 2002 was egged so the paint is chipping off,and the doors have some minimal rust on the bottoms. These can be replaced by the ones on the other car. The windshield has a circular crack in it because someone threw a rock at it. It isn't cracked through the glass though, only the top layer. I keep up with the routine maintanence. Just changed the motor oil and radiator fluid.

Here is a list of some things I remember having done to the car....

INTERIOR:
New black carpet
Newer black Recaro seats with bmw roundel on boulster from a 80's 3 series
Everything else reupholstered to match (door panels, rear seat)
Momo pedals
Copper shift nob with carbon fiber top
New black cluster with around 90,xxx miles
Red Simpson 5 point racing harness in driver and passenger seat

ENGINE:
New performance headers from ireleand engineering
2 1/4 inch straight pipe all the way back to an Ansa muffler
New fuel pump
Rebuilt motor with stock parts
Rebuilt Weber carb
New alternator
All wiring redone
New battery
Black & polished valve cover
New exhaust gasket and head gasket
New Bosch distributor,and rotor

EXTERIOR:
New sylvania headlights
Real alpina rims
Dark amber euro spec blinkers
Newer paint
New Bosch wipers

WHEELS & SUSPENSION
New Yokohama tires with 90% tread
One year old brake kit for rear

Please feel free to call, or pm any questions, I'm also available to show it. The price for the 1973 BMW 2002 parts car and the 1975 BMW 2002 together is 5,500 OBO. Or 4,500 for only the '75 2002 and i'll sell the '73 parts car seperately

the reason for the lower price for the two cars and higher for one is because i'm lowering it if you take the shell and make it easier for me.

Looks Like a nice car. There is defiinitely a buyer out there for that car. Whether or not that buyer happens to be in Tampa FL may be a bit of a long shot. There are some National 2002 groups out there. Have you made it know to them? Bimmerforums?

Good Luck

my dad and i have spent three years of labor and close to 8,000 dollars to restore it to it's current condition. I'm thinking of putting it up on ebay so it gets more views but i'll post it up on bimmerforums too.

The front bumper makes it look like a boat

But clean without a doubt!
