I paintshopped this image of my car, and added the HRE C20s that I will hopefully get in about a month, and I smoked the taillights...

Any thoughts on how the taillights look? Yay or Nay to smoking them....
:thanks:

I think it would look strange as hell without window tint. All black, but then normal windows looks very weird to me.

Not a fan of smoked lights. Dunno why, just never appealed to me. Reminds me too much of the Mustang guys who black out everything including headlights.

The wheels are HAWT though. :)

Lame, my car was in at reeves getting it done while I had the oil changed, and the guy who works there and had everything down just how I wanted it done quit. So now its going to go into a confused clusterf*** over there until they re-organize. Says no one is going to know what to do with my taillights... wee i'll keep you posted...

Oooook, update, can't do the smoked lights

I wanted 30% around on my windows, and they won't do illegal work on the front ones soooo I'm gonna see how 15 and 30 works... worried the contrast between the lighter and darker won't look good.... Oh well, right now I kinda just want my car back, **** it...

in most situations the contrast is hardly noticable. i had it on my 240 and it was only when the light hit it perfect you could realllly tell

Ok thats good... If its really hard to tell the difference then thats fine... I am just worried about it being like worlds of difference between front and back and it not flow well. Although if its like you say and its just in certain light, then cool.

I'll have to find somewhere to smoke my lights still.... argh

well i think its basically if your looking for the ocntrast youll see it but otherwise youll assume its all the same. my 240 had limo on the rear quarter windows and the next lightest on all others.i guess 20 %?

Just got mine done today. 20% all around. Having the windshield done next week. Going to do a metallic 50%.

Fox Tint did my Impala illegal, you might be able to see it in my avatar. Lifetime warranty and not a bubble or single messup. And I have taken them up on the warranty when the inside got scratched, and they replaced it, no questions asked, and did my entire back window with one piece (instead of splitting it on a defroster line, which is a ghetto shortcut some places take.) AND it was a very competitive price. They do all the cop cars and stuff, and used to do tinting for A&B Audio, if anyone knows the place. Top notch work, if anyone cares.

Also, voted smoke the tail lights, that'd be sleek.

i smoked mine myself with a spray can i bought on ebay. Its extremely easy to use, basically the same thing as spray painting something, and you can make it as dark as you want by adding more layers on. I think it would look awesome on your car based on your picture, especially with the rims and like everyone else said, the window tint.

here's an example of how mine turned out..
