OK so just so you guys know there is a serious speed trap on US 19 starting in palm harbor goin down through the construction to 60. I got stoped twice in 2 days and got a huge ticket for one of em, they have gotten complaints about the speeds lately so def take it easy out there!

Yeah what they need to do is get a cop for each lane and stop traffic and do alchohol breathalizers on everyone... it would take a little bit more time but would help a TON with reducing accidents.

Theres this undercover cop like right after gulf to bay and drew street, coming up the onramp....
Apparently they like to hide on the onramp and pose in unmarked cars, as cars on the side of the road that are pulled over. I can't believe I didn't get ticked, my friend and I raced right up to him. But I don't think we ever went past 55 so... Pretty lame... Earlier guy behind me got pulled over in the same spot... He cut my friend off and went flying by.

The worst spot tho is on 19, between New Port Richey, and Port Richey, theres a bridge over a river, and they always camp on the north side. They usually sit on the Northbound side in the morning, and nail you as you come over, or sit on the Southbound side at night in the hertz car rental lot in undercover cars. You never know its them.

Yes, I know exactly where you are talking about...They also do it from the Tarpon to New Port Richey bridge....or is that the same one?....I am confused lol...But no, I know that on bridges you have to be espically careful..

they have a new dark blue charger in oldsmar.
they also have a silver one in land olakes/new port richey (not sure if he goes into pinellas.)
black one in npr, not sure if hes up by my house or elsewhere.. i never stick around to ask questions :)
Just remember that they do useless things that are centered around "sitting". Why not pull over old people that are going 35 in a 55 in the left lane while on 6 different meds and can't see where they are going? Isn't that worse than me going around them going 10 over? I saw this truck leaving Ybor on sat that the front bumper would hit my bottom of my windshield. Isn't that illegal? The bumper should only br 16 inches off the ground so it doesn't kill the pedestrian. Most of the cops are good 'ol boys and close their eyes when they see some illegal ****ty trunk 36 feet off the ground. Have you ever seen a jacked up truck pulled over? I have only seen sports cars pulled over....BTW...I don't like cops...

yeah then lets let them search our cars too
and maybe i'd let them poke me in the butt too
**** the pigs
PS i was in new york for the US open and while there i noticed that the Police there are definetly viewed differently, they are respected. I also noticed that every cop i saw for the 2 days that i was there (this is including going back and forth from manhattan to mamaronek) was slim and in shape, i only saw one cop that was overweight on my way out, but then i saw his pipes and decided that he drinks alot of beer. where as around here they are all fat ****ing slobs that i would love to fart in their face - direct injection

i love the direct inj idea!!!
Cops suck.
I still like the idea of rating all drivers with driving tests, and give them a particular type of license plate and license based on their driving skills or lack thereof. The better drivers would have different driving laws and speed limits to live by. While the crappy drivers would have to pay for their crappiness by being confined to particular lanes and speed limits. This would be more work on the cops, but based on the circumference of their waistlines, they have plenty of energy stored up that they could devote toward this issue.
Anyone with me on this one???

yes and no....basically i doubt it could ever work if they tried to put something like that into effect...just too many loose ends to be tied up there

as long as i was licensed to do 140mph+ when ever i feel its safe enough, and sometimes when its not safe enough
now i just gotta make my car go past 130mph

haha i basically hit a wall around 125-130.... barely pulls at all up there but its strong until around 120
I like your idea Chris...
We need double decker roads. Roads on the bottom for semi's, slow movers and work vehicles and upper lanes for faster commuting traffic.

haha did anyone else picture a Futurama/ Jetsons type deal with that? And thats a great idea because its just something else for all the cities to impede traffic and spend billions

I would like to say that all of you guys' ideas are AWESOME.... IN THEORY. Try imposing those ideas to the senate. Lets think realistically.... Draw up designs, ideas, whatever... show it to the state senator.. if they dont like it, and WE ALL FEEL SO STRONGLY about this subject, vote in a senate that will do just what we want them to do... thats what our DEMOCRACY is all about.. for the people..
just my .02!

They also love to patrol SR54 between Veterans and Little Road lately (limit 45mph).
Passed that spot yesterday! Man, that cop looked unhappy when a black M5 was cruising by, and just within the limit! Sweeet!

Aeryk said the cop pulled out of the plaza with his lights on after us but when we went over the hill he turned them off. Then he just rode my ass for a mile and turned off.
