I am selling this for a friend. It's a 89 GTI 16v 5spd with roughly 170k miles. Runs excellent. No oil leaks, ice cold a/c, suspension work, etc.
The good
ICE COLD A/C!
sunroof
Nuespeed springs
Bilstein struts
Aftermarket steering wheel
Cross drilled rotors
Weighted shifter
custom exhaust
aftermarket 16in wheels
clean dash
only 1 small dent
NO RUST!
The bad
windshield cracked
odometer doesnt work
bearings in alternator are starting to go (alternator is currently charging fine, just a little noisy)
Drivers seat torn on bolster and at the bottom
Door panels could use some love, but not too bad
faded paint
Overall it would make a great project car. A fresh coat of paint and some minor work and this would be a really clean 16v GTI. I work with the person that is selling it. It's his daily driver but hes moving on to another car and needs this one gone.
The pics are kind of crappy. The pics im posting are only of the interior and engine bay. We will get some more up tomorrow of the exterior.
