Not many post in this section so i thought i would post up

My dad bought a 1965 Mini cooper s last week

The car is being shipped from mass and should be here on friday :cheers:

heres a quick shot the guy sent us...ill be sure to update the thread with some other pictures when the car comes in

It says austin mini cooper S on the title but im not sure...

My dads getting it for a little toy, he will probally get sick of it in a few monthts and put it in storage or sell it to my uncle that wants it..

when i get it all be sure to take pics and try and bring it out, from what i have heard the cars are a very stiff ride, so def not daily drivable

tim any idea how much Hp ect this car comes with stock?

I know the car is modded and my uncle described it as "quick" but you never know what that means...I guess ill find out when it gets here tommorow

Im not sure about the specs on those guys but i think regular ones were like 1700cc and the S go 1900cc engine either way they were decently quick for back in the day but i dont see them doing 0-60 in under 7 seconds.

All minis handle like go-karts new or old.

no... the S gets the 1275cc, the reg. S's have 34hp, and the S is about 100 hp for performance one... there is also 1380 cc with about 120 hp... the 1380 is not very common. Yous see alot of the 1275 S motors.

im not sure what motor it is.....I know it has dual carburators???

guy just called....hes stuck in traffic on 275

i think the dual is the S 1275

ya its got the 1275cc....

its got a few mods.

The car is pretty cool, really small, and handles awsome it needs some work but should be a fun project..

not to mention every1 looks at you while u are driving the thing
