painting my stock rims black

guy i got my 18s from turns out to be a scammer. in the process of getting my 600 back.

im gonna just get new tires for my stock 17" s-lite wheels, and paint them black. i dont know if i want gloss, or like a matte (semi gloss)

i figured id just paint my stock ones black, if i ever want new ones, ill just get a set, theres plenty of them forsale on forums all the time.

you gonna do a gloss, flat, or semi? i think im goin semi gloss....

i like the pic i posted, with the chrome accents, but i also LOVE this look. i like the rough black look, so i may black out EVERY chrome thing as well.

i think that is perfect, unless you are trying to go all Knight Rider on the people at the track, thats when you add the red light bar in the front of the hood so that is what they are staring at as you pass them...

i think the gloss would look sorta good now that i look at it, if the tires were shiny, and that MINI was black.

ok so i talked to a friend of mine that owns a body shop, hes going to powdercoat my stock 17s gloss black for 50 bux each :)

once that gets done, im going to be blacking out the chrome beltline under the windows around the whole car, painting the chrome headlight rings, the chrome trim around my grille, painting the MINI emblems black (shaving the "cooper s") and tinting the tails and reverse light black.

the headlights on the other hand will be a handful.

im going to bake them, take them apart, and paint the inside housing black, then silicone them back together.

Im sure there are some people on TR who might be able to help you. They'll just want you to paint them red, or gold, or green or some skittle ass color, lol.
