Hey guys, my name's Ken. Some of you may know me from E46fanatics as kpeng. I run Leistung Motorwerke, the local BMW group in Gainesville, and I drive an orient blue 2004 330i. Anyways, just wanted to share a few pics and say hello. If anyone needs anything Bimmer-related in Gainesville, feel free to contact me, I don't think there's a BMW enthusiast in this town I haven't met. Hehe.
Here are some pics of my pride and joy. And in case you're wondering, Best Motor Works & Sports is a great shop in town that sponsors me. If any of you guys in the area need mechanical work done, go see Mickey @ Best Motor Works and tell him Ken sent you.

Thanks! She's coming along nicely. I have M3 sideskirts waiting to go on here right now, and Euro-Spec and I are in talks of getting one of the first polyurethane Tornado rear bumper replicas.

I like the angel eyes and the CSL lip, dead sexy..... Once you get the M3 sideskirts and look totally like an M3 you can get the E46 M3 engine :thumbu:

haha. If I can afford the S54 swap I'd do it, lol.
Nah, it won't look like an M3. I just wanted to keep the mods subtle, so I decided to go with a lot of OEM styles.

Intake, exhaust, UUC Underdrive Pulleys, and Active Autowerke software
As others have stated, the CSL add on is sick. Nice taste, and good choice on color, you don't find many in that color..
Looks very nice...welcome

There are a few people from this site that will attend and I would like to include as many Leistung members as you can get as well.. I am also inviting some MyE28 members as well.. I am hoping for a decent turn out.. Give me a call with some feedback..

Thank you everyone! The compliments and kind words makes my modding all worth it. I'm glad to see others enjoy looking at the vision I had for this car. I look forward to meeting all of you.

Ken i have a question? when someone sponsors you do you have to do anything special for them? is everything that you get for your car free from them? if so i jave been thinking about doing a sponsorship and would like to do it bc my dad thinks that modding my car is pointless and he thinks that i want to make it into some ricer or something but for his cars its all ok... so basically i have no funds bc he wouldnt allow it but if i had a sponsorship deal he may do it bc hey its free or really cheap or something

You basically have to show that you're committed to helping them advertise and modding your car. I spent a good deal on the car before he decided to give me a deal. I brought him a lot of customers too. The wheels I bought before him, the drop, the exhaust, a bunch of things. All I do now is help spread the word about his shop, and put the two decals on my sideskirts. Mickey and Ivonne at Best Motor Works are great people and great friends, so it's one of those I help them out, they help me out deals. I don't want to exactly say what I get in the deal, because that's between my sponsor and I. But it's a very fair deal. We'll leave it at that.

thanks for the info and for clearing up the whole sponsor thing... it sounds like you have a pretty sweet deal

Yeah if you don't have too much into your car, you have to have a proven record. Like say I wanted a sponsorship from Reeves for my racing stuff but they wouldn't give me one. If my dad was the one racing the car every time though, they said he would've gotten one.... lol. If you can go out to the track and constantly finish well and not crash much and show that you're dedicated to the sport you could pick one up I'm sure.
