I suggest a thread listing members with experience in certain things or certain jobs that they can assist others with.

Quite literally everything except:
- Welding (I can weld but I don't have a welder anymore)
- Painting
- Removing/Rebuilding an engine (Haven't done it but am very sure I could)

yes, as a matter of fact.. angles and bore lengths are my specialty when it comes to itb.

i may not be the best actual worker on a car, but i can generally figure out how to fix things and tell you what you probably need to do. i can do some stuff , im just no expert basically. im good with cleaning and deatailing cars

Right Dave. I'll go first. I'd like to keep it at things that we have done before. Feel free to change this into whatever format you think would work best. We can always add as we gain the experience.

I've done these things to my car successfully.. no expert by any means
all done on my e36, m50 motor
Head gasket replacement
Oil pan gasket replacement
Cam removal/reinstall
Dismantle and reassemble vanos unit
Brake pad replacement
Shock, strut, spring replacement
Rear shock mount replacement (rogue engineering mounts)
Head unit install, including soldering factory wiring back together (after someone else spliced into it)

i've been with Disney for 30 years....first 13 i spent working on cars then went into ride/show mechanics... now i work on rebuilding rides /shows/ and one off props. i am a good general mechanic(have my own shade tree) . i'll be glad to help anyone with a task!
