First off what car is this motor going into?
and to answer the audi tt question being the same as a mk4 yes and no.
They produced 2 versions a 150hp (mk4's and new beetles) and a 180hp(tt's and some mk4's)
All 1.8t engines regardless of engine code and regardless of car have the same block, only the internals differ.
The difference is the audi 225tt has stronger internals and an additional fuel rail.
The AEB engine code has the largest intake ports and is one of the most sought after head's to put on a 1.8t.

The block is different on the AEBs... its a older style block with a external waterpump apposed to the amb.. aww ... awp .. etc etc that has the waterpump inside the block and is driven by the timing belt . There is no additional fuel rail on the 225hp motors ... they simply have larget injectors and different programming
I have a ECU and wiring harness out of a 01 gti with 30k miles on it . The ecu is flashed with atp stage 2 t3/t4 software . Made over 320 wheel with it . I could help for a few dollars ...
