Just went home on my lunch break and downloaded it. Got to play it for about 20 minutes -- by far more realistic handling dynamics than PGR3 and any other console game I've played.

Probably going to buy the wheel + pedal combo for it tonight.

I want the wheel, but I'm not gonna pay $150 for it. I'm gonna wait till maybe next christmas when the price will hopefully come down. Fun freakin game though!

It's pretty neat and looks pretty, but honestly, NOBODY makes "realistic" racing games like SimBin. GTR2 and RACE are 100x better in the realism department than this game.

I still like it alot, and will probably buy it to play with friends and you guys too. That McLaren F1 is a fun car to drive! Can't wait to see the real upgrade garage in this game too...Turbo E36 M3? I think so! ;)

EDIT: Maybe a wheel would help? I figure so cause controllers blow for racing games.

Yea simbin kicks ass for ultimate simulation fans, it's fun but I always get tired of them after a couple weeks. I like more arcade style simulation than pure sim. Doing 40 laps of qualifying before I can even place a time to finally race isn't in everybodys time frame! Plus the modifying with aftermarket parts, easy decal interface makes it 1 big package that I don't think any PC sim can match!

BTW I saw the other day at sams club the wheel for $110, probably the same at costco to I'd think...

Nice...and I agree with you 100%

SimBin racers are better for realism, while games like Forza and PGR are better for quick in and out sessions.

the game is awesome, love the graphics, and for an arcade sim it is very realistic, as noted by jack's tendency to power-oversteer everywhere LOL


cant wait till the full version comes out, i hope it doesnt have stupid restrictions on modding like the first. for example, not being able to turbo certain cars kinda sucked, and not being able to add bodywork sucked too, because thats the best way to get better handling without bumping up classes

I played it at LD's house yesterday. It was pretty awesome.

The E36 M3 was sweet!

Can't wait for the full version. Wish I had an XBOX though. :/

The demo sucked, I liked GT HD tech demo better. It looked like a Xbox one game. I am sorry but they really should have done better with the graphics.
