ok guys, give me a price you would expect to pay for my car.. i gotta get rid of it.. so let me know what you guys think...

110k mi.
new radiator/clutch/guibo/rims

perfect inside..(except the headliner.)
outside is as close to perfect as it can get for being 11 yrs. old..

JCapelo

you should be able to get anywhere from 9-13k for it, just wait for the right buyer

Ask 14

kelso
06-02-2006, 06:09 PM
anything wrong with it besides noted headliner? asking 14 sounds decent. depends on how flexible you are with buyers and how much your willing to go down...because i dont think youll get 14. its nice though fwiw

TheDarkSide
06-02-2006, 06:14 PM
nothing else wrong with the car, tip top shape... getting new headliner some time this week, so thats nothing. cars perfect.

according to the blue book its trade-in is $6650 private party value is $8750 and retail (dealer) is $10925 assuming its in excellent shape and no accidents so thats gonna bring it down some so i would say anything under 10k is reasonable

TheDarkSide
06-04-2006, 11:20 PM
Lets say $8500-9000

silver-e34
06-04-2006, 11:55 PM

The Weiner

I would take something like that for trade in.. not private party sales...

JuCo

You getting that Cobra eh....leaving the M-POWER behind.....:flip:

10k would be a fair asking price.

silver-e34

i dont think the average person with a brain would pay 10k for a car that has a private party value of $8750 in excellent cond. but have fun trying at that rate you will own that car forever:dunno:

TheDarkSide

Kbb is gay.....just because they say they are going for 7 or 8 doesnt mean they are...

look up a e30 m3 it says like 6 grand tell me where i can get a e30 m3 for 6 grand in excellent conditionkbb is pretty accurate the reason why e30 m3 sell for more is because they are so rare how ever e36 m3 are a dime a dozen so pretty much that means an e30 m3 is worth 6,7k but if you have one and want to sell it you can pretty much ask as much as you want being that they arent that many to go around im not saying yo will get 15k for it but somebody who really wants it will pay that and more for it since its so hard to find just like a e34 m5 how many of those do you see driving around ? the less its available the more desirable they are the old supply and demand

kelso
06-05-2006, 11:19 PM
you can get them for that much but it will break down and parts are supposedly uber expensive on E30 m3's... i would take one in a heartbeat though!

party house ftw!

you're right, they are a dime a dozen...however most of them have sh1tty interiors, or sh1tty exteriors, very few have good of both... I dont want to argue with you, obviously you dont see e36 m3's having much value due to you driving an e34, but some people will pay top dollar for having a well maintained good looking car.... TO EACH HIS OWN.

TO EACH HIS OWN. relax i personally dont see cars having much value period to me other wise i would be driving a 06 745li instead i bought a house :dunno: unless its a track car and pushing high hp it doesnt mean much to me and i would never pay more than what its worth on average even if it was an e30 m3 or e34 m5 ill pay what kbb calls for or they can keep it.kbb is an average not a price set in stone i mean lets face it anybody who gets an m3 or m5 is gonna be hard on the car thats why you buy a performance car for and dont tell me you havent driven that car to its limits more than once so 111k on a permormance car is more like 211k from a drivetrain stand point and i understand these things thats why i say that.keep this in mind when you buy a performance car or a luxury car engines wear twice as fast in high rpm's than in low rpm's
