What's up FloridaGerman. Although I don't own a BMW (yet), my roommate Ryan, who is a BMW enthusiast, has gotten me extremely interested in BMWs over the last year or so.
My hope, this summer, is to learn as much about BMWs as possible by attending meets and hanging around the garage and people working on their cars. Ultimately the goal is to own an E36 of my own.
Also, if anybody is a member of bimmerforums.com my user name there is the same as this.

Thanks bro. I always used to want one for the status symbol, but over the last 1-2 years talking with Ryan, I have really learned to truly appreciate the BMW as a car and not a symbol. I'm not sure if he's on the forums, but if he is , his user name would probably be SpeedTheory

^ Not be a stalkerish, but you probably live in New Hall at FSU. I do too :) I know Ryan because he ran East Coast Euro up in the DC metro area.
Welcome to FG though :) Sweet that you joined!

ya i thought BMW as a status symbol too until my dad bought a few when i was growing up and i realized that they were just awesome, and then he bought me my first BMW as my first car and i realized right then and there that BMW was a true passionate automobile...
