Suggestion to help Growth for South Florida

Alright, putting the whole baybimmers and FG fued aside and other problems... Etc..

Obviously at the moment the most of the members on here are Central Florida, Tampa/Orlando and surrounding area's.. As many of you know, I'm originally from South Florida and to help the growth of the site, because I do like the overal general idea, let me know what you guys want to do about site growth/membership.

If you wanna do business cards etc.. that's fine, flyer's whatever.. There's a large group of people who are in MIA/Lauderdale area who would enjoy this site, and it's new beginnings. Everyone wants to be apart of something when it starts you know?

Most of them being on E46fanatics, and that's about it, they rely on Fanatics for their meets/gatherings/Group buys.. It's hard to compete with something like that, with its size and all, but I'd be willing to help by handing out whatever to get more growth. Going to a few meets down there and do some recruiting etc..

Let me know what you guys think, all criticism accepted. So let's hear it.. :cheers:

a flyer would actually work pretty well if you are at a car meet or something, just put one on the german autos. cards are always great too of course, but its almost a given that there will be cards so, why dont we have somebody or a group create some ideas for a flyer, post the finished copy, and members can print it out , make as many copies as they want and distribute. i would keep a healthy stack in my car at all times personally. i think i can get a few bmw people to join and a few VW/ audi people as well...

Only thing is have you ever saved a flyer on a car? Even if it is something you have interest in. They are just too big and just walking up to your car seeing one makes you cringe knowing it is some mobile detailing thing... B-Cards are perfect size for pocket, wallet, purse, etc.

But if they're gonna be put online and printed, they're gonna be on regular paper, which is gonna really suck the big one..
I don't recommend that. They'll fold easily where they are put and such..

The cards are super cheap, I think we were doing $5 for 200 UV coated full 2-sided color cards. Way better than computer paper.

First the issue of the name has to be resolved. I just think when we advertise and have stickers on our cars that say "FloridaGerman.com" ppl will be confused exactly what it is.

hey gus glad to see you joined....i heard about the site today and asked some questions im still not clear about what happened tho over on the other side nobody involved wants to discuss it so its pretty much rumors right now about tha whole thing hopefully somebody will clear things up but regardless we are all friends anyway so i will support you guys as well and contribute to the succes of this site :cheers: :woot:
