welcome to FG ..... howd you hear about the site ....
the lights could have bad seals on them or there are holes in them so water or moisture could get in them

check the rubber gaskets to see if they are sealing properly.

More than likely it's the DIY mod right? Where you drill out the tabs?
If it is, pull out the housing, and put silicone on the holes that were drilled.

a temp fix. that could make you happy, is putthing those little beads that come in little white packets in random things, that like soak up mositure..
i know that is a little vauge.. but its the little white pouches that say "DO NOT EAT" "TOXIC"
they work wonders! throw a few behind that headlight!

yeah it seems like it wasnt properly sealed. my friend did his and he baked them right before he put tem back together to get the glue hot again, and then put tons of sealer in them

Silicone works wonders and not just on pamela anderson bro! get you some at DAP or wherever, its an easy fix.

definately, i have done tons of retro jobs and its the best way to get a seal. The best stuff i've found is GE Silicone II 100% silicone sealant. Its permanently flexible so you never have to worry about it seperating.

Take it out ,is fairly easy thing to do. make sure you do a good job and it wont be a problem in the future.
