Should we change the sites name? [EVERYONE CLICK] (PLZ RE-VOTE)

Alright many of us are considering to change the name of the site. FloridaGerman.com is not specific enough, it covers everything german in florida and this is a german car enthusiast site!

So what do yall think?

thought about it for a second and kinda feel like german autos is a bit lengthy. when i first heard about florida german i immediatly understood what it would probably be about and liked the idea and the name is easy is remember.

It's simple and not long to type.
It's specific enough.
Looks good.

And we can refer to it as "FGC" and that just sounds baller. FGC YO!

I agree with the simplicity..... FloridaGerman.com suits it. I knew exactly what it was when I heard it and you have to remember a name is what you make it. Before some guy grew moss on a rock and sold it for $9.99 would you of called it a Chia Pet? You do now don;t ya?.....its short and to the point keep it.

Yeah, I agree with Dave. You don't want more than two words for the site name. I can picture myself saying Florida German more than the other one. I honestly don't think people will remember the longer name.

Yea I like FloridaDTM.com the most aswell. It's easy to say, type on teh computer and even the domain is not taken!

DTM refers to german touring car (production modded vehicles) racing so it's perfect.

For all ppl know it could be a german flute playing club website, or a forum for all german ppl in fl to talk on in their native tongue... get my point?

If I saw GemanDTM I would have no idea what it meant. Shows what I know, I still have no idea what the hell it means! Don't like it, as active as I am and not really sure what it means there must be plenty of other that have no idea either. Even if some does know, it will be heavy enthusiasts, what about new recruits???

i think DTM is cool but i think people some people forget that all of the idk what its called but all of the Mercedes Benz in the GT classes and stuff in the Euro races are DTM cars like the DTM CLK. I dont know thats what i thin keverytime i see DTM, just my opinion. Im not a fan of the DTM name

Here is another suggestion. Get rid of what ever causes that crap. I have to go back and edit it out of my posts and sometimes when i edit it out and hit save, like half of my post is gone. :dunno:
