Genuine Porsche Aluminum and Carbon Fiber Shift Knob purchased at Champion Motorsports about 3 years ago. Knob is in good condition. Leather could use some leather cleaner, but nothing serious. No bad scratches or chips in it.
This knob goes for approximately $400.00 brand new..
Any and all offers considered, or trades for E46 M3 aftermarket parts (:D ).
Will fit all 996 Carrera's, and Boxster S's..
After that, I'm not sure, take a picture of the shift stick itself and send it to me...

Now for pictures, if someone requests different pictures, or pictures taken of a certain part of it, just let me know and it'll be done asap..

how does the knob attatch to the lever its self, with the allen bolt??

Mine just slides down and clips on, so I know it would need some modification, but I'm wondering how much exactly...

Yeah allen bolt.
How much as in price? Or how much as in how much modification?

well i was just wondering how much modification would be required to make that knob fit on my lever.

and it's looking as if it would be close to impossible. :(

anything is possible provided the right preperation, equipment, handywork, timeframe, skills and ideas, working environment, money, and probably dozens of other factors.

most of which i dont have

I got a friendly reminder from my father today that this knob is still sitting without an owner. By friendly I mean a slap to the face.

EDIT: I've bumped this thread like 4 times. Someone please just buy this or trade me an original pet rock... I don't care.. Something with a purpose, because we have none with this shifter... And I hate putting crap on eBay.. I get stupid questions like "Does it come with NOS," or "I heard this mod with a differential swap and a speaker upgrade adds 16whp to only the right wheel. Is this true?"

Thing goes for a few bills brand new, it's in decent condition and it's genuine Porshce equipment...

Bueller.. Anyone.. Bueller??

I hate ebay. And I don't feel the sudden urge to jump on some P-car forum's..

I may be interested, one thing though. I heard this mod with a differential swap and a speaker upgrade adds 16whp to only the right wheel. Is this true?

In case you can't tell I was making a 5:30am joke. I'll probably wake up and say "God, why the f*** did I post that?" But now I did.

Well Gator911 sent me a PM a few weeks ago asking for a price.. I PM'd him back with a price, shipped.. never got a reply. :dunno:

It's in Fort Lauderdale at the moment.. but i'm gonna have it sent up here..

You can get it pretty cheap. It went for like 3 something new.. You can have it for less than half that.

I'll hit you up this weekend or next week with the details.
