They're horribly overpriced "collector's items"

If you add up the mods on the car, even counting the disgustingly tacky paint job and wheels (not cheap), it'd come out to ~42k. It isn't even impressively modified either. It's basically a stage 2 STi. Intake, turboback, tune, TMIC. It's ~380 HP IIRC. The ~425 HP version isn't even street-legal (no cats, which, who cares in FL, but I don't know if it can be legally registered). Mastro is having a hard time selling the ones they have.

Thats my whole point.. 50k.. are they different from the ground up.. or just add on BS.. I mean there are a lot of NICE cars out for 50k..

Just to clear it up, I didnt want to buy it. I just found it and thought it was some dudes rigged POS that he was trying to state was a limited edition or some shit! Ill drive around in my nice family sedan and whoop that "super" STi anyday!

$50,000 aside, i have to say i like the look of the standard STi much better than that. although its only a "stage 2" equivalent, 380hp is nothing to sneer at, especially in a tiny car like that.
