OMG ya isnt that amazing? what are some predictions on what the magazines will get this car to 60 and the quarter? and even Ring times? i say 0-60 in magazine times will be 4.3 and 4.6 or 4.7 by BMW numbers, 1/4 mile ill say 12.8 or 12.9 and 13.3 by BMW's numbers... The Ring is gonna be tricky since the M6 just posted 8m 6s and they said if they took the stupid 155mph gov off it will do in the mid 7m range... So i say the Ring time will be right around 8m 10s... What do you guys think?

I hate the E90.... but I don't think I have a choice whether or not I like the M3... That thing looks sweet... though I still don't think I can trust any posts on this site that any of you know exactly what it will look like.. Just wait and see!!

Well that last one is clearly photoshopped, but the general lines may be close. Either way, it looks like it has the potential to be a really hot car. And with a 4 liter V8 pushing out over 400 HP, it's hard to go wrong with it. Wonder how it'll stack up against the M5 (clearly weighs less).

That has to be the oldest photoshop of the E92 M3 I've seen. That was floating around E46Fanatics last summer. I doubt it'll look anything like that. I'm guessing it's going to look like the new 3 Series Coupe but with bigger fender flairs and a quad exhaust. I actually like the E92 and I'm sure the M will tear it up.

fact is the M3 has lost it's soul. it's gets bigger and more into luxury every generation and MORE expensive.

Truely, there is a better car cheaper than the M3, and if I was going to have to pick. I would go with Lotus Elise.

at prices around 40k, in terms of sheer driving pleasure i think the Elise is one of the best cars in the market, and at the price you really can't complain.

The real downside to the elise though is its much more of a "toy".

They are so unbelievably small its not practical in any way shape or form. Thats where the M3 comes in.

not quite.

E30 M3 for the win.:boink:

plain and simple.

probs with the e36.

1. Door panels suck:jerkit:
2. engine is a nerf:jerkit:
3. it's really not that much different from a non-M, unlike a e30 or e46 which stand apart with different body panels over the non Ms.:jerkit:
4. I wouldn't buy a e36 M3 unless I could get ahold of a Euro Engine for it.
I'd rather take a US S50 and drop it in a e30 or Ti and have a sick lightweight over the 3000lb e36.:woot:

although the e30 has a weakness, maintaining the S14 in top condition.
it's not as carefree as a S50 or S52 US engine.

not to my knowledge. Maybe a S52/50.

The S54 is a electronic bitch to swap, BUT it's been done.

but a Euro S50B32 will get you 320hp stock in a easier to work with format.
