yes deff Top Gear FTW!!! but y didnt he just crash it into the house going like 25 or 30 mph in reverse? It would have murdered the engine and then probably would have killed the car bc it wouldnt have been running anymore :dunno: but since no one else has said this yet :germanflag: FTW!!!

good point, but i think he really wanted to blow it up. he loves to rag on the german cars. the only great car is ferrari in his mind really, and you cant argue too much with that but he does give cars a fair analysis.

plus, 1 hit to end the car isnt good for tv...gotta make it dramatic and funny

He really believe its Ferrari and Aston Martin vehicles that are the best ever, whatever little problems there are, he'll mention it for a second, then sing its praises for the whole show. Granted they are super-cars and everything, but with German cars, its always negative with him. "What's with all these gauges? What like having oil press&temp, tach, speedometer, and maybe a voltmeter are so un-necessary? Porsche's tach's are always at the center in the driver side dash, that's all you ever really need in those cars anyways,...
I enjoy the show, I just hate how with German cars, they're so many things wrong with them to him, but a early 90's jaguar with infamous electrical problems is a incredible vehicle..Once ford bought Jag, they stopped having such bad electrical issues. British engineers couldn't fix it for decades, an american car company buys it, and solves it in matter of months.. :roll:

5th gear has good stuff as well. and i think your right about him, but i htink the british hate the germans or something...im not to up to date with their political stuff. they also hate american cars, because they are always so plastic-y and just stuff like that. he does seem to like VW and most bmw's. he just hates the porsches. he owns a benz. ferrarri is the automotive genius in his mind. he really points out the bad in everything but covers it up quickly with the pros if he likes a car

I remember when Jeremy drove the RX-8. he started off tlaking about how preposterous the car was and how weird the body styling was, but once he got in the car, all he did was sing praises. As long as a car is insanely fast or is fun to drive, he's happy.

well when you are bombed for almost 2 decades straight and are in 2 world wars with one main country then you tend to be a little agitated with them as a whole and it sometimes gets worse down the line... Like Americans we have so many issues with the Brits simply bc of our history with being ruled by them and having to beat their a$$es in 2 wars and having to help bail them out of 2 and now they are starting to help us in the recent 2 decades, but many Americans still have issues with them as do they with us... It all spawns from control and war

I totally agree with you. I remember when he tested the E60 M5. All he did was b*tch about the electronic and all the settings. He only briefly covered the actual driving experience.

I like 5th Gear with Tiff a lot better. He's a much better driver and is actually fair when it comes to rating cars.

I enjoy both 5th Gear and Top Gear... but you have to admit 5th Gear gets extremely technical and boring at times.. Top Gear is informative and your laughing your ass off the whole time.. I love Top Gear.. Definately FTW!!! I miss the chopped up discovery channel episodes.. and wish I had every BBC episode on DVD... I don't really know where to find good videos, being that I am completely internet retarted, but my myspace has tons of Top Gear in my Video Favs.. lol.. Top Gear is the best!!!

For some reason the videos are playing faster than they are downloaded... any idea why? I have to keep pausing it to play a little bit at a time.. Same thing happened with the "kill a porsche" video.. Myspace vids don't give me that problem..
