That's pretty sick...I wonder what the boost pressure is. Probably over 20psi if it's making that much power!

I'm getting tired of all this 1000+ hp at the wheels crap anyway. I mean am i such a dork to be content with 333hp.... at the CRANK??? I'm starting to feel like there is something wrong with me because i actually think my car is pretty quick.
Also, putting any more than 500 hp to the wheels of anything close to weighing 3000 pounds is worthless. Except for maybe at the track with VHT. But then you're just gonna break something every other run you make.
Question; What's the difference between 600 hp and 1000 hp? Answer; With 600hp you actually have a little traction in 4th gear. It's all a bragging game now. It's all about who can make the most hp on a dyno. I say we take it back to old school and see who can win the damn race!

I've got a friend who has a 900+ wheel hp Supra. he was talking about getting a new car. he was like "What do you think about the E55 AMG? Cause with just a few grand i can get up to 800hp or so."
My response was a very simple.... "there is something wrong with you"

Yea it's all bragging and to get attention (business) for ICS but cool to see the power potential of a s52b32. I'd rather have 400 whp and a better powerband than for it to lag and spike towards the end...

I am satisfied with mine. I will do intake, headers, exhaust, chip, etc. But anything more than that it is a waste of money. You would need to dump major money into it to get over the next hump. Put it into another car if you need more power.

personally, i think the quest for numbers is a little superficial, whether it is in hp, torque, top speed, and even (i hate to say this) 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. If you really want to go old-school... what ever happened to getting behind the wheel of a car that is just fun to drive and feels fast. One of my first sports cars was an old 924, it wouldn't blow your doors off, but it was one of the most fun cars I've ever owned. Flying around corners without powersteering actually FEELS fast!!! To me its all about the overall picture.

I feel the same way but I am not allowed to talk like that because I aways bring up my S2K and get flamed to hell. I was boarder line about to get another it was just a inch :roll: to small and not a rocket ship. But **** one hell of a drive.

the s2k is one of the few modern roadsters of the day - i love that car. my friend just got a solstice, and i'm gonna take it for a spin this weekend, i don't have very high hopes though.
