I had my software updated last week...

... I'm amazed how they can keep squeezing more and more torque out of this engine... With the X+ software... it would burn tires in 2nd, squeel third, if you wanted to...

with Hammer+... it burns tires in 2nd... before the traction control can catch up, with only 1/3 throttle...

I won't be re-dynoing for a while, until I have some more substantial mods done (exhaust is up next), but for anyone who hasn't been getting their updates (there have been at least 2 from GIAC for the 2.0t FSI since July), I'd seriously recommend staying up to date!

(GIAC, and other drivers, report an extra 10 hp, and around 30 torque at the wheels with this update... I can't verify this personally.)

Yep, Welty does flashing anywhere with his laptop... :)

I am gonna venture to guess I've got in the ballpark of 230hp and 270torque at the wheels now...

I'm going to be swapping out the intake I have with another model (the one that GIAC tests with) in the near future, and plan on doing the exhaust next... I won't redyno until after the exhaust is on... I also want to find a dyno that actually has good airflow for the turbo so it doesn't go too rich like it has done to me 2x now...
