Ok, here is the exhaust project. As many of you know i haven't been real happy with my first two exhaust choices for the M. So, i've always wondered, i see that many others wonder, but no one has tried it yet. I'm going to fit an 80 series flowmaster to the M3. The pipes need trimming, but you can get the picture. I'm just going to tack weld them into place for some sound tests. If it sounds good i'm going to give it to a fabricator and let him pull it apart and put it all back together all nice, nice like. No comments on the welding, i never claimed to be a master welder. haha :lmao:

This is what i made to take the stock 2.25 pipes and turn them into one 3" pipe that will go into the inlet of the muffler. So i just need to bolt it on to the midpipes, line up the muffler, tack it together, weld a hanging support to the muffler that will attach to the factory hangers and it's test time. it'll probably turn out to be a waste of time and money, but hey, you never know until you try. If this thing sounds good i'll have about $300 in a muffler. haha :thumbu:
