Here was my contribution to the thread...

There was one guy that couldn't figure out the .NRG file...

Ok...this is what you'll have to do.

When you extract the .NRG files from WinRAR, extract them TO THE DESKTOP.

Once you have done this, go to this website http://www.daemon-tools.cc/ and download daemontools. This is a floating drive emulator that will allow you to run a "CD" with out actually having a CD...

Once you download daemon tools, it will ask you to shut down the computer and restart it...do this and then once you finish downloading daemontools, you'll see the small icon appear in the quick launch down in the tool bar...right click the red lightning bolt and then go up to Virtual CD Rom and then go to Device and then go to mount image...this "image" is going to be the .NRG file...it will auto run the file and you'll be good to go from there...

I downloaded that off of bitcomet a while back and when I tried to install it, it would say that it wouldn't work on this OS. I dunno, I guess I'll try installing this one too.

God I hate rapidshare. Downloaded one part and now I have to wait an hour and a half to download the next. Thanks for the links, though.

Yes...and after you do, you will need WinRAR to extract the files...:)

You have to search for the file. The directory that you extracted it to.

You need to extract the RAR files to the desktop and then browse the desktop and select the NRG file...I think that should help. :)

Ok, well I am alittle confused.
So I downloaded all four files, extracted them to 4 separate folders on my desktop, then mounted all four images. It doesn't autostart, so I followed the installtion file in the image and get this:

You'll notice that when you extract just file #1, it will actually run 1, 2, 3, and 4 through the extraction process...it won't let you extract the file unless you have all 4...:)

Sorry to bump an old thread, but does anybody have a link for TIS that's still active? Or can you send this to me some other way? I have some major work to do to get my E38 running again (timing chain guide, and probably more) and TIS would be extremely helpful. Thanks!
