I got this off of another site that I am on...it's awesome...
BMW TECHNICAL INFORMATION SYSTEM AS USED BY BMW MAIN DEALERS
The most comprehensive guide ever produced for your BMW. The benefits of this virtual manual over the haynes version are far reaching, this was written by the people who made the car!!
To get information for your individual vehicle you only have to enter your vehicles VIN (chassis) number and the software provides comprehensive and clear easy to follow lists of parts and repair proceedures including diagrams.
This could save you fortunes when ordering parts from the likes of german swedish and french as opposed to your local BMW dealer.
Covering the 3,5,6,7,8,& Z4series models to 2004 along with a new mini section too!!
Amazing Package, very hard to get. uploaded by me(aeon)
Enjoy Very Happy

Here was my contribution to the thread...
There was one guy that couldn't figure out the .NRG file...
Ok...this is what you'll have to do.
When you extract the .NRG files from WinRAR, extract them TO THE DESKTOP.
Once you have done this, go to this website http://www.daemon-tools.cc/ and download daemontools. This is a floating drive emulator that will allow you to run a "CD" with out actually having a CD...
Once you download daemon tools, it will ask you to shut down the computer and restart it...do this and then once you finish downloading daemontools, you'll see the small icon appear in the quick launch down in the tool bar...right click the red lightning bolt and then go up to Virtual CD Rom and then go to Device and then go to mount image...this "image" is going to be the .NRG file...it will auto run the file and you'll be good to go from there...
Hope that helps...
By the way...this program ****ing rocks...
