Does FG still have connections at Sound Advice?
I have 2 JL 12W7-3s and a 1000/1 amp sitting in my closet now... Need 1 more amp, and its ready to go in the car... What can you offer... I want something amazing, I mean HIN trophey winner... freakin lights and ///M and JL cutouts and some nice fiberglass work. Real deal, lemmie know what you guys can throw down, and a general price idea, or if you know somewhere that takes the time to do some crazy custom work.... Its gotta look amazing and be stable and strong to withstand the v-10 power launching and going around the track. It also needs its own battery deep cycle system, because I can't have it eating away from my alternator... everything in the M5 is electronic and I can't have it drawing power from the SMG and all that good stuff because something will break :(
Most of the places here in Ft Myers stopped doing custom jobs and just do typical boxes for the mainstream... FTL

idk... how could you even care about a sound system in an M5? you have 500hp and a great sound system coming from the engine and exhaust, why the hell do you need speakers? personally i dont see the need in having some crazy ass sound system in a BMW or a car like it... :roll:
but its your car so you do what you want...

seriously... when you've had a car that has some nice bass... its hard to go back to not having any, it never sounds right... I love the sound quality that JL delivers... its so clean and crisp.

i had a sub in my 240, but never in the bimmer! its possible man i swear...takes a little getting used to but sound clarity is better than boom boom

The JLs arn't really up on displacement... They arn't built for being loud, their build for clarity... If you ever sat inside my escalade, the W6s I have sound so clean I love them... I woulda got them for the M5, but I want to show the car... it needs a system, and it needs W7s because they say BALLA, **** the girl, 99% of them are just trifling hoes I'm not worried about that, but I wanna enter the car in HIN next year and other stuff
The black m5 that was there this year had 1 JL 10" W7... gotta out do it you know?
oh and the car is already too heavy to worry about weight savings stone lol, If I wanted to strip it out, I woulda bought an old school 6er or something. I bought this car specifically because it was 4 doors, nice backseat can put tvs in the headrests, and a nice big trunk for a sound system... was the sole reason I bought the rear fold down seats... The weight added by the system will be = to having a passenger in the car, and we know how to still rockets with 5 people in the car lol... The new lightweight wheels with wider tread will compensate by helping the car launch faster by having more traction

Thats gonna kill your trunk space... but will probably sound nice in the mini cab...
Thats a very clean setup in that pic... I will do something alot flashier in the bmw for car shows.. nothing too flashy though, just some fiberglass and paint

I built this thing a couple years ago and ended up selling it on ebay for almost 300 bucks. It only took me about $45 bucks to make haha. If you decide to go fiberglass, make sure you have NO gaps in between layers or it will sound like rattling. :(

I told you... I want balls out all fiberglass enclosure, built strong so it's not gonna break when I'm tracking... plexiglass to see the amps, maybe a tv in the trunk cause I want them in the headrests and inegrating to play on the idrive up front as well...
Basically I want the sickest car you've ever put out from the shop lol, 1st place trophey winning material. The tvs don't have to be right away, but the sub enclosure has to be crazy but still sleek. Gonna have to hold 2 12 inch W7s and 2 1000/1 amps... can't takeup the whole trunk though, the battery and such is back there and I have to keep access to that. It also needs its own deep cycle system and such so I don't have to worry about it draining power from the car
