hey guys. i've noticed something that kinda bothers me. when i login to the site at home, i choose the "remember me" option so i don't have to login each time i visit the site. no problems.

however, on a couple occasions i have tried to login from a friends comp or a computer i dont use often. whenever i uncheck the "remember me" option and login, it brings up the screen that says thanks for loggin in sublimefan86. but after i get redirected, i'm not logged in! i've tried it several times but it acts like i never logged in in the first place. dont know if you guys have already talked about this, or if anyone else has had this problem...

If you're talking about appearing not to be logged in on the home page, then just click on something to take you to the forums. Although it's showing you as not logged in on the home page, you are; the forums will show you as such once you get off the home page.

i thought that was true also, but then i went to a thread and tried to post a reply. it told me i had to login :( so i logged in again. it showed me the page with "you have successfully logged in". but when i get redirected, it brings me back to the promt to login again...

Hm... I haven't encountered this before; I'll look into it. You say this only happens when you try to log in from a computer other than your own?

yes, but thats just because i stayed logged in at my home comp and my work comp. it doesnt work when i try to login once from a friends comp or somewhere else.. i dont want to remain logged in at these places, so i uncheck the remember me button. try it and tell me if it does the same to you. thanks.

I just noticed that. Same if you logout on the main page. Then click forum, you get logged back in automatically. :duuno:

It's some sort of Vb IP error thing...I remember it from a little while ago...just do what Kenny said and if that doesn't work I can't help you...:)

Yeah, it does the same thing to me if I'm on someone elses computer.
