We tested Optimum Poli-Seal on a silver 2003 Mazda 6. The paint is in good condition but has never been polished, though it is waxed every 3-4 months with a synthetic wax. The vehicle was washed and towel-dried before using Optimum Poli-Seal. The car looked clean and had no apparent dirt or oxidation. It had a few light but noticeable swirls on the hood and fenders.

I used a white Spot Buffs 4 inch pad on the Pinnacle Polishin’ Pal to take advantage of the pad’s polishing ability. Poli-Seal has the texture of a hand lotion with no visible abrasives and it’s very easy to apply.

Evidently the paint actually was very dirty (you should see my buffing towel!) and Poli-Seal started cleaning it literally on contact. I’ve used cleaner waxes and I’ve never seen a product work as quickly or as noticeably as Optimum Poli-Seal. This is much more than a cleaner wax.

After Poli-Seal hazed over, I buffed the paint using a Cobra Microfiber Towel, flipping it often. Unbelievable. The towel was filthy with dirt and oxidation that was not even apparent before I applied Poli-Seal. The haze buffed easily and in no time, the car was completely polished and sealed.

Optimum Poli-Seal cleaned the paint very well and therefore it looked crisper and clearer, but the nice surprise was how smooth the paint was. Poli-Seal eliminated the light swirls on the hood and fenders. The paint had a nice slickness and gloss, which is tough to achieve on silver paint. These results were achieved by hand application; machine application will enhance the polishing abilities of Poli-Seal.

For machine application, spread a thin layer of Optimum Poli-Seal over the paint using a polishing pad on your Porter Cable 7424XP. Mist the pad with XMT Polishing Pad Conditioner before using it, as Optimum recommends using a damp applicator. Buff using a Cobra microfiber bonnet over a lambswool pad. Keep an eye on the condition of the bonnet. When it becomes soiled, flip it inside out and continue buffing.

In the final analysis, Optimum Poli-Seal is easy to use, cleans very well, and leaves a great, slick shine – even on light colored vehicles. Poli-Seal is an excellent one-step product for detailers or for anyone that likes quick, impressive results.

The Basic (1-3-hour Process) Recommended 1-2 times a month

In exterior, we start off with a foam gun all over the vehicle to make sure there is no marring when washing the car, then we proceed to use a microfiber wash mitt to clean the car (Only the body, the rims get an entirely different mitt to make sure there is no chance of the dirt from your rims creating new scratches on your paint.). Once the vehicle is rinsed completely, we use a microfiber drying cloth to dry the rest of the vehicle. The car is then hand-waxed and the interior is vacuumed, exhaust is polished, windows are then cleaned, and tires are dressed. Price starts at $65 for all cars, and additional $20 for small trucks/SUV, or $40 for large trucks/SUV.

The Basic Plus (3-4-hour Process) Recommended 1-2 times a month

This package includes all of the The Basic Package with additional of headlight restoration (helps visibility). Instead of a hand wax, the vehicle is machine-waxed. Price starts at $80 for all cars, and additional $20 for small trucks/SUV, or $40 for large trucks/SUV.

The Fixxer-Upper (5-6-hour Process) Recommended for all vehicles being sold/Getting ready to be sold or Returning of a Lease car

Trying to sell your car? Want to make your car more appealing to potential buyers? Get every cent your car is worth with the Fixxer-Upper Package. We first start out with vacuuming the interior, and identifying any problem areas. We then remove those spots, and proceed to start washing your car with a pH zero car soap (to avoid water etching marks). We then clay bar the car to make it feel like it just came off of the showroom floor. After that, we then start to remove scratches with polish, and then finish with a hand wax. We also dress the tires to make it look perfect! Price starts at $100 for all cars, and additional $20 for small trucks/SUV, or $40 for large trucks/SUV.

Leather Treatment Package (2-3-hour Process) Recommended twice a year

Leather is cleaned with a safe cleaner as to not damage. We use a small brush to get into all the crevasses. We then use a leather protector which has a UV protector, and leaves a clean and fresh look! Prices are:

Leather Revitalizing (8-12-hour+ Process) Recommended 3-4 times a year

We recommend a preventative maintenance face lift three to four times a year, once prior to the winter season to prevent cold crack of leather, and once before the heat of the summer to prevent deterioration and shrinkage of heat which result in continued cracking of leather. Leatherique Rejuvenator Oil and Prestine Clean are safe and natural even for use on equestrian leathers! Leatherique Pristine Clean and Leatherique Rejuvenator Oil work with a capillary action. The proteins, cleaners, and conditioners find their way deep into the natural pores of the leather, and force out the dirt, perspiration, air pollution, and other toxins that dry out and destroy the fibers of the leather (this is the reason it takes so long), depleting the fibers strength and flexibility, and causing them to deteriorate. Perspiration and the salts left after its evaporation easily find their way into the leather fibers. Notice on an older car, the areas where a person rests their hands or arms, steering wheel, arm rests break down the quickest. Price starts at $400 ($50/hour).

The Black Car Special (7-10-hour Process) Recommended twice a year

Starting off with a wash and clay barring, we then do an intensive scratch and oxidation removal session. Then we move to our gloss enhancing polish made strictly for black cars only! It wets the paint to its maximum depth of gloss, and hides minor water spots. Oil-in-water emulsion will not dry out your paint. Then we follow it with our specially formulated for black car paint protection which will create a deep gloss that shimmers like water. The color will radiate with depth and clarity. It is highly resistant to UV and infrared radiation. We then follow with our signature carnuba wax recipe containing a rich blend of exotic natural waxes that are enhanced with modern polymers for more durability and shine. It’ll make your car look darker, more vibrant and pop with color. Engine is also cleaned and protected. Price starts at $350 for all cars ($50/hour), and additional $20/hour for small trucks/SUV, or $40/hour for large trucks/SUV.

Exterior Detail (4-5-hour Process) Recommended for all vehicles

With the Florida sun beating on your car’s finish, you’re going to need to protect your investment. We recommend our exterior detail package. This package includes all of the “the basic plus,†and also includes use of a swirl and haze remover on the paint with our machine polisher. We then use a polish to clean up anything the swirl and haze remover missed. (This also adds shine and depth.) We then machine wax your vehicle which is fortified with the latest technology of aminos, polymers and high gloss oils. This will leave your vehicle with the shiniest and most durable paint protection available. Out-shine your neighbors 110%. And if that wasn’t enough, we add a coat of our brilliant glaze to add an instant wow factor to your ride! The engine is also cleaned and protected. Exterior and Interior Detail (8-9-hour Process) Recommended for all vehicles

Showroom Detail (Interior Only) (3-5-hour Process) Recommended twice a year

For an all-out clean and protected interior, we do whatever it takes to return your interior to what it use to look like straight from the factory! In addition, windows are cleaned inside and out, and all chrome trim is polished. Price starts at $100 for all cars, and additional $20 for small trucks/SUV, or $40 for large trucks/SUV.

Showroom Package (Full Paint Correction) – Exterior Only (7h-10-hour+ process) Recommended for car enthusiasts

We then hand wash the car with a microfiber mitt, and use a two bucket method to prevent scratches and marring. We then do a clay bar treatment to remove any stubborn contaminants from the paint’s surface. This creates the nice and soft-to-touch paint that your car use to feel like. We clean the wheel wells and dress the tires and trim of the vehicle. We then begin to start a multiple step paint correction. We will use a test spot on the vehicle to see what steps will be required to correct your paint’s surface. Once we determine what steps need to be taken we then proceed with the paint correction process (which varies from vehicle to vehicle). We then clean the windows to leave a streak free finish. Engine is cleaned and detailed. Price starts at $400+ (full paint correction starts at $60/hour).
