Hey Everybody-- just wanted to stop by and say hi-- I was at a stop light talking to a guy with an E36 M3 and he told me about this forum. Im in Tampa and hope to see some of you fellow German car guys/gals around!

Man you guys reply fast!! I'll post some pics of my M asap. I am in North Tampa/Odessa area but all over the place during the week. If any of you want to meet up sometime I know a bunch of awesome roads up here in Odessa! The E36 was a blue vert with a nice exhaust and recaro seats.

Awesome, most of us have no life so we are just on Florida German all day. :lol:

You will definately hear about it if we have a meet this weekend. We are trying to get something together.

yeah, i love sebring. We go there at least like 8-10 times a year between driver eds and HSR racing and such. I'm hoping to do a driver ed by th end of this year there.

good luck with the testing, be consistent! From what I hear, they like people who can consistently run fast times as opposed to someone who sets a blazing lap every once in a while and is crazy for the rest.

and where in tampa do you live?? lol

track enthusiasts are few and far between but there are a few around :)

I'll be at Sebring Oct 8th and again in November with Chin (http://www.chinmotorsports.com) along with a few other locals.

Sebring seems to be a good track to learn at... I had a blast with it my first time out and cant wait to go again :)

Do you run your 03 M3 or have another track car?

Thanks! Yeh you really have to get into the grove at that track- I am in North Tampa/Odessa area.

ive been pushing my dad for the 8th at sebring, but he wont budge. I may do one day i think nov 11, and if not that, then december 30-31 with chin. Also contemplating the possibility of going down with the targa to homestead with chin, i hear its a blast too :)

Haven't run my car there yet but would like to do a couple laps in it. I race with Skip Barber and looking to get into Panoz. I'll be starting the Southern Series with SB fairly soon! Sebring rocks :headbang:

haha I wish mine were show car worthy, all it really needs to get to that point is new paint, everything else is perfect. As for my track events, only autocrosses so far, but next year i'll get around to a driver's ed once the money starts flowing back in...

Gotta get out to the track... like an autocross but 10 times the fun :)

As far as money goes I am trying NOT to think about how much this car + tracking is costing me. I just pay everything on the credit card and try not to look too closely at the balance when I'm paying it online :)

hahaha yea i really can't wait to do a real track event! I'll be attending the miniprix this weekend which is on a small track (basically a go-kart track) but still fun.

and money... well without a job im back down to a negative number, but once i get a job it should be no problem again...
