So I put M3 springs on my car, handles a lot better but damn the ride height sucks, esp. in the rear! My old worn out sport springs sagged nicely but weren't very stiff any more.

It leans forward so much it looks rediculous, feels weird in the car to... Look at the height from the ground on the front and rear bumpers....
z omg!

If they are fairly new then they should settle like mine with the rear fender right at the top of the tire.

doesnt really seem that bad to me... if it bothers you that much, cut a little off the top of the rear springs.

i agree with jeff tho, give em time to settle first

Yeah that rear does look a little high.. Does E36 have those spring pads on the top and bottom? I know E46's do on the rears..
Supposedly you take out the bottom ones and it's like a 5-10mm lower.. I'm not sure on the width of the pad exactly.
All it does is keep the spring from moving a little bit, and keeping it from making noises during bumps..

I don't know, I'm just trying to help.. If that is even helpful..

NO I'm not going to cut the springs, the design of the rear springs would make that impossible anyways if you've ever seen them in hand...

I did all 4 springs (fronts were a little gay to do with the spring compressor but not to bad), they are used springs off a ~75k mile E36 M3. It's been a week so they aren't goign to drop anymore either. The reinforcement plates add extra height to the rear to, maybe a 1/4 inch.

TC Kline DA kit? :D

Yea but I would never do that, metal on metal parts that vibrate/move up and down aint good. The thickness of the rubber pads holds the springs in place aswell so that could give some annoying clangs/clings which would be totally not worth it for 5-10 mm!
