I just received my new set of Bridgestone Potenza RE-11's for my 944 Turbo. With the original Fuchs wheels in like-new condition, I would really like to find someone to install them who will be careful to keep them that way during mounting, balancing, etc. Any recommendations in the Lakeland, FL area?

Levy's imperial tire in Dixie land across from the pawn shop. Ask for robert, tell him douche with a busted Mercedes sent ya. They're good guys and they'll be super careful if you let em know you're anal

Only down side is they're M-F 8-5 only :(

Pablo!!!!!!! Bienvenidos a FG. I saw your car up on stands last night and wondered what the heck you were doing to it. I would have said hello but it was a little late and I was a little bit boracho. Jacks sangria gets me everytime.

Regarding careful time mounting, I can't help you. The place I used last gouged up my Gotties with their clamps. Luckily, they did that set first so they were extra carefull with my new wheels. I wouldn't send them any new business.

- Thanks rabidfox. Levy's is right on my way home from work. I'll stop-by today and talk to them. Since you mention them; I've actually seen 2 or 3 944's at a time parked there. Almost like they were meeting.

- Shawn: Yes, it's up on stands awaiting mounting of the new tires. While I have it up there, I'm also adding M030 sway bars. Much as I've resisted, I'm losing the battle to try and keep this car stock. Next: more power! Oh, one more thing; you can stop-by anytime. You're always welcome regardless of the time of day or of any side-effects that Jack's Sangria potion may inflicted upon you.

Take care,
Pablo

I just thought I'd follow-up on this thread. I took rabdfox's advice and went to Levy's Imperial Tire on South Florida Ave. Robert, the guy I was told to ask for, was very up-front and told me that he'd like to see a wheel before promising that he could do a scratch-free job. So I took one in and he showed it to the installer, who told him that it wouldn't be a problem. I always felt that I was being dealt with squarely with these guys. Long story short: they did a beautiful job at a fair price. I couldn't be more pleased. What I liked most was that these guys were willing to do the job and had an understanding of the care required. Anyway...I just thought I'd pass this along. Now...I'm off to put these new RE-11's on the car. Can't wait.
