Hey, I have a bit of a favor to ask of you lucky M3 drivers out there in FG land. How much is your insurance, and what age bracket do you fall in. I'm in the market for a used M3 but would love to know the approximate cost of insurance. I know that your insurance will be quite a bit less than what mine will be, if I do get my hands on a M3, since you're probably not a male highschooler. Let's hope the Good Grade discount does something. :D I'm paying about $2,200/6months for $300,000 max per crash and a grand deductable.

:thanks:

Couldnt tell you. I am the primary driver of a 2006 Honda Civic, while my dad is the primary driver of my E46 M3 :)

Our overall 6 month insurance cost actually went down when I left my '02 Ford Explorer behind.

I've got stacked liability on 3 vehicles (1.5 mil or something) and a $100 deductible. 15 year old family plan FTW

See if you can get insured as the primary driver of something OTHER than the M3.

Hell, you could buy a beater car to be the primary on and save your parents a LOT of money.

every company is different as is every person. Call up your insurance and get a quote from them

Where ever you go to for insurance it's still gonna be hella high because of your age and the vehicle.

I'm primary on my 3.25Ci, but changing my primary wouldn't save that much at all. The other cars are a 97' Carrera 4, an Acura TL and X3, both of '06, and a Subaru WRX. I also drive to school so I'm listed as a commuter. I'll talk to my Dad and see what I can do.

Just call a get a quote, everyone is different but I can not say I have ever seen threads bragging about it. Mine is full coverage, 250 deductible and a little over 300 a month.
