the Mini apparently won the first race by 3 lengths and lost the 2nd race by one, but the GTO rolled the start. I dunno thats just what it says below the vid.

Either way, those GTO's are rediculously fast, I got a chance to ride in one sometime last year and it could easily whoop up on corvettes and other stuff. Not only is that mini supercharged but it must have a slew of other mods, the only one I noticed from another video was a pulley.

and even with it being light, it needs a fair amount of hp to even keep up with a 5.7L GTO

GTO's are just like the Camaro/ Trans Am they run about a 13.7@103-105 in the Quarter stock. Not Vette Territory. The 6.0 GTO's are a lot quicker though. 400hp apposed to 350hp in the 5.7. LS2>LS1

ohh ok, well the one i rode in was a 6.0 GTO, so maybe thats why, but all I can say is, ive driven a C4 vette and its much slower than that GTO was..

OO yea C4's suck! haha C5's were around 12.6-12.5 in the Quarter stock while the C5 Z06 with a good driver was an 11.8-11.9sec car stock.

I ran an 05" GTO the other day from a 1st gear roll to about 120mph translates into the GTO putting almost a carlength on me.

GTO- Drag radials, Cams, Headers back full exhaust,tune says he dynoed 425rwhp and runs 12's and he said he raced an 02' Z06 and said he inched him but it was a drivers race.

By the way my 3.25 LSD is now installed

Yep , i just have no where to get crazy. BTw the GTO had 3.91 gears too. Thats a bump up from 3.46 or 3.55 i forget. When i was hanging with you guys my car wasnt running that great because my fuel pressure regulator was shot . I replaced it and now the car runs like a champ LSD is just a big bonus.

It's because there's a video of a twin-charged Mini and it's yellow and that guy kinda looks like the owner in the other video.

its a sweet Mini, but i agree it has to have some serious mods to play with a GTO even if its just the 5.7L, now if it were the 6.0L GTO id be scratching my head wondering how that Mini was able to keep up...

Definitely not stock, Goats are fast as hell, the only problem they have is suspension based. With less than a grand you can pull low 13s all day, and it's still 110% daily driver- the mods the Holden HSV Monaro GTO had to it's suspension aren't seen on the Pontiac GTO, it's a name alone, not based on the Monaro's big brother, it's a base Monaro.
