600 at the wheels?

Are you sure? Got the dynos?

If so that is the fastest E46 M3 on the planet.

Chances are if it is simply a stage III with no nitrous it is in the low 500whp range.

I'm in a hurry so I'll spare everyone the details, but just look up TazaM3 on e46fanatics.com as right now he is reigning champion with 563whp thanks to AA stage III and nitrous and 503whp no nitrous.

Whatever the case with this car is please bring it up to Tampa for a meet so I can get some nice video and/or a ride :)

damn 600 at the wheels is pretty nice!

how can 600 whp be the fastest M3?? I know there are at least a dozen daily driven 700 whp STIs around so I figured 600 must be easy

It is the fastest M3 because nobody knows of a car that has reached it yet. Keep in mind this is E46 M3... not the E36 M3, of which there are cars with over 600whp.

I believe he meant 600 crank HP, which is more like it for AA stage III.

A 700whp car as a daily driver is a bit of a stretch too man -- I'd imagine they arent running on the street with the boost that high all the time. Seems like you'd have to be careful as **** driving something like that, and even then probably never take it out in the rain :lmao:

600 whp is apparently not easy with the S54+e46 M3, as nobody has yet to reach that milestone, though they are getting close... far from being easy.

I believe if a 600whp E46 M3 exists, it is in Miami right now with a built motor and a turbo and it is built by Active Autowerke (the news is out they're making them, e46psi.com).

There is an E30 M3 w/widebody kit with a turbo s54 so it is not impossible to do, but it was a total custom job and I'd imagine took a TON of work. That might be in the 600whp range, but it is still not an E46 M3.

didnt e-andreas have a 600 whp M3 before the government took it?

He had AA stage III and if it was pushing 600whp, nobody ever saw a dyno of it

Boobs, tell Adas to swap those yellow fogs for some color matched xenon ones and get clear/smoked corners FTW :)

LD, there aren't a dozen 700 WHP STi's. There are definitely a few dozen mid-500 WHP STi's, and maybe a dozen somewhere in the 600 WHP range, on C16 race gas, but the only STi's with 700 WHP or more are in Puerto Rico, and they aren't daily drivers.

craig who owns cue auto was telling me about em up north.... he had a customer with a 600 whp daily driven wrx, and the 700s arent as common, but there still are a few of em

I feel bad for those M3s. :(

Why?

MP0WER
09-10-2006, 09:42 PM
Because of the ginormous sub boxes in the trunk. :(

ld you also gotta consider the wrx comes with forced induction stock, and those kinds of cars are always easier to mod. i understand that in thta range, its probably all custom anyways, but its still easier to make those faster

I think the sub boxes are fine....

as far as adas box, I would paint it black or put some carpet on it, or get some kinda of custom inclosure that flows with the trunk.

At HIN there were 2 stage III AA's and they said on their mod sheet 586hp I think.

Stereo is a waste of money. Most of the factory offered stereo systems are more than adequate. You should be listening to the sweet sounds of your engine anyway. Stereo doesn't add performance................................NICE cars by the way, I love M3's!

Alright... I'm back.

Mpower - subs add traction...:headbang: j/k but seriously these pos cars have so many rattles without a system might as well add some improved frequency response.

I dont want to say too much cause there is more work to be done, but... Stage III, two 12lb bottles of NOS, and 116 Octane. Unfortunately, a new clutch+flywheel were installed too, so they only did dyno pulls without the 116 and nos.

out of 5 or so pulls it made between 440 and 460 on Actives Mustang dyno excatly what stage III alone is supposed to make. We all know a dynojet will be higher right? and add a few horsepower with the race fuel and another 60+ for the 75 shot... I guess it will be a little shy of 600, my bad.

Plus, Viks(tazas) car will be on hiatus soon getting a custom turbo setup done at active like Jerrys(JMwebs) car is now. Meaning this will be one of the fastest e46 Ms for a while.

...Dont worry, its coming...

LDadrenaline

why would you have it running on race fuel?? 110 octane is like $6.50 a gallon so I cant imagine what 116 is. Just seems like overkill on a damn street car

Over 563whp and you're at the top when it comes to WHP until the turbos are done ;) You may have to dump the sub boxes and add a some CF or something if you're going to get in the 11's though when it comes to 1/4 but ehh... 1/4 times are not what a BMW is about anyway. Should do it anyway though, see how low you can get and put Tampa Bay on the map :)

I'm guessing it was your car AA posted with the CF interior and all to M3forum.net. http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=129396 <- this it?

If so..where are the sub boxes now =P People are /drooling over the car.

Beyond straight line speed, do you like high performance driving, e.g. race tracks? If so, try and get to Sebring... would love to see your car out there pulling like a freight train, I may try and go with the PBOC (Porsche BMW owners club) next month.

If anything, try and come out to Gandy for some fun one night.... thursdays are usually good.

Storytime? Old news but here (http://www.baybimmers.com/new/showthread.php?t=1275)is his video post and here (http://www.baybimmers.com/new/showthread.php?t=1284&highlight=e_andres55) was the thread where I first read the news. Epic 32 page thread on e46fanatics here (http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=372996&highlight=andres)

Anyone getting a Stage III in FL gets a free audit from the IRS and courtesy 24/7 surveillance by the FBI  (beebo's quote).
